Chapter 43

Sasuke's POV

"No Sakura you can't be saying this to me. You just can't," I said shaking my head desperately. My voice shaking.

"It's true Sasuke, I'm carrying your baby. Can't you see, this is a sign that we should be together Sasuke, for our baby," she said getting up and walking towards me.

"No Sakura no, I'm not going to ask you to terminate this baby but I'm not saying I'm going marry you either because you're a toxic person to be around and I don't want that in my space. I'm going marry Naruto and I'm going to have a family with him. And that's final Sakura," I said looking at her breathing heavily.

"So you have been lying to me all this time when you said you loved me?," she asked shaking her head tears running down her face.

"I wasn't lying to you Sakura, I did love you but I realize know that I thought I wanted you back, that I could bring back that old flame that we had, but I was wrong. I love Naruto, back then I thought I loved Naruto but now, I know that I'm really in love with him and I want him back," I said looking at her.

"Okay, fine then. Let's see if you're going to be in this child's life then," she said angrily walking out my house. I sighed sitting back down on the couch, running my hand through my hair.

Time skip~
19:46pm~

I was in the kitchen sipping on a bottle of wine. I leaned against my chair looking up at the ceiling. I couldn't think of anything at the moment. What am I going to tell Naruto now. I always thought that Naruto is going to be the one to have my first child.

The front door opened and closed and I looked up to find Itachi walking towards me with a frown on his face.

"Little brother, what are you doing?," He asked with a frown. He was wearing a navy blue suit, with a white button up shirt with two buttons undone. And gold watch on his wrist.

"Well good evening to you too Itachi," I said taking another swing of my wine. He took the wine bottle away from my hand," Hey," I said with a frown.

"Sasuke you have to pull yourself together. It's been a month now, you look like a mess and you haven't been at the office for weeks now. You are falling behind on your work," he said disapprovingly.

"Well I'm sorry that I'm heartbroken and I want my space," I said looking at him with half lidded eyes, drunk.

"Don't you think you brought this upon yourself little brother? and you don't have the right to be heartbroken. You are the one that was busy sneaking off to your mistress behind Naruto's back," he said with a frown and I sighed.

"I know, I've been trying to reach out to him but he wouldn't answer any of my calls. Do you think he's moving on with out me?," I asked looking up at him.

"I don't know, but I wouldn't blame him for moving on because you left him the moment you started the affair with Sakura," he said and I looked down at my fingers.

"I made a mistake," I said softly with regret and sorrow.

"But Sasuke I told you, this girl was just bad news. Right now you have to pick yourself up and get your shit together. Do you think Naruto will take you back looking this pathetic," Itachi said kinda harshly walking around the kitchen.

"Wow, thank you for the motivation aniki," I said sarcastically looking at him.

"Sasuke!, Look at this mess. Your house is a mess, your work is a mess, you yourself are a mess and your life is a mess. Sasuke, Naruto is not going to take you back looking like this, you need to pick yourself up Sasuke. I'm worried about you, mother is worried about you and father says you must man up and fight for what you want. If you want Naruto back Sasuke, then you have to fight for him because he's not just going to come back here and take you back. Jesus Sasuke, you're so frustrating sometimes!!," He said his voice raising, he turned away from me to calm himself down.

I looked down as I took in everything he said to me. He's right, if I want things to get better between Naruto and I, I have to fight for us. There was a moment of silent and I sighed.

"I'm going to be a father," I said softly looking at Itachi.

"Excuse me?," He asked looking at me in confusion.

"I'm going to be a father, Sakura is pregnant with my child," I said looking at him. He just stood there, frozen in place, he seemed to be taking in what I just said to him.

"Then...then what are you going to do, I mean, I doubt that Naruto is going to except this Sasuke," he said slowly looking at me worriedly.

"This is my baby Itachi, I'm not going to ask Sakura to terminate. I'm going to accept the baby and try to provide Sakura with whatever she needs for the baby and with Naruto. I'm going to figure something out," I said softly looking at the table. He just sighed in defeat.

"Okay then Sasuke, do what you have to do. But you have to go back to work, the company needs you," he said and I nodded.

"Okay, but I'm going to need a few days. I need to talk to Naruto. I miss him Itachi and I can't get a hold of him. I don't know what to do," I said a single tear coming out my eye.

"Okay, well I'll see you later then," he said walking out the door. I sighed laying my head on the table.
