Chapter 57

Sasuke's POV

"I didn't know you can have a picnic in doors," Naruto said with a smile and I chuckled.

"Yeah, it actually possible. I saw Itachi and Kyuubi do it once," I said eating the cake that Naruto made. We are sitting in the living room with the table pushed aside and a fluffy blanket laid on the floor. Snacks and drinks around us.

"Wow, it's pretty cool. So how's work going?," He asked and I took a slice from my cake.

"Work is going pretty well, I just started this month working," I said truthfully.

"This month?, Why?," He asked with a frown.

"Our break up hit me pretty hard and it kinda took a toll on me, so I had to take some time off," I said and looked down regretfully.

"I'm sorry Sasuke, I didn't me-," he started but I cut him off.

"Hey hey, it's not your fault and I deserved the pain I was going through. I brought that upon myself anyway. So did you start seeing other people?," I asked just out of curiosity.

"No, I didn't have the time nor the strength to do so," he said and I didn't want to smile or be happy about that.

"Oh, I see, wine?," I asked taking the bottle of wine. He shrugged smiling.

"Why not," he said and I poured us each a glass. He holds up his glass looking at me.

"So, what do we toast to?," He asked and I thought about it for a moment.

"Uhm, let's toast to our new friendship and new beginning," I said and he nodded touching our glasses together gently and we took a sip.

My phone rang loudly from the coffee table and I frowned. It had to interrupt a beautiful moment between Naruto and I.

"Excuse me Naruto," I said and he nodded.

I got up and answered without looking at the caller ID.

"What?!," I whispered yelled at the person.

"Sasuke, can you come over my place. I think there's someone in my house," Sakura said softly over the phone.

"Really?, have you checked first if there's really someone in your house right now?," I asked then looked at Naruto, he was leaning against the couch playing with his hair.

"No, but I'm sure there's someone in here," she said and she didn't even sound panicked.

"Sakura I don't want you to lie to me and I don't have the time to play games with you right now seriously. Is there really someone in your house or you just want me to come over?," I asked and she sighed.

"Okay fine, there's no one here. I just really feel lonely and I want you to come over," she said and I sighed in irritation.

"Sakura I'm really busy right now, I'll see you tomorrow when I get off work or something," I said then I hung up sighing heavily. I walked back to Naruto and set next to him.

"Is everything okay?, you look drained," he asked worriedly.

"Yeah, everything is fine, it's just Sakura. She always calls me for stupid reasons and sometimes, it really gets on my nerves," I said and Naruto ran his hand over my leg soothingly.

"It's going to be okay, I promise," he said and I smiled.

"Thanks," I said with a smile, then unexpectedly he stood up and set between my legs leaning his head against my chest. I looked down surprised at his actions but smirked running my hands through his hair.

"What's this all about?," I asked and he shrugged.

"Just felt like it," he said simply. Then I raised my eyebrow, after a while it hit me. I chuckled shaking my head. Naruto is jealous. He doesn't need to be honestly, I'm completely his. I kissed his head gently. And he looks up blushing.

"What was that for?," He asked and I shrugged.

"I just felt like it," I said back to him and he smiled. After a few minutes of staring at each other, we leaned in slowly our lips touching gently. I put my hands on his cheeks pulling him closer. He moaned softly running his hand up my chest.

We kissed softly but deeply for a few minutes, the kiss starting to get heated. He straddled my lap, running his hands through my hair. I pulled him closer by the waist, sucking and licking his lips. I groaned. God, I'm in heaven right now. I missed this so much.

We pulled away and I started kissing his neck running my hands over his soft tan naked thighs, he was wearing shorts. I ran my hands up to his behind. He leans his head back to give me more room to kiss down his flawless neck.

I put my hands under his shirt feeling his plush skin under my hands, running them up and down his sides. His skin is still so soft, just like how I remembered it. I pulled away. Breathing heavily.

"Naruto, I think we should stop now. I don't think we are ready for this yet," I said and he nodded.

"Yeah, you're right. Let's just go to bed and sleep," he said and I got up, pulling him up with me. He giggled wrapping his legs tightly around my waist.

I chuckled as I walked us upstairs and towards the master bedroom," wow, you've done renovations here too," he said and I nodded sitting him down on the bed gently.

"Yeah, you like?," I asked getting up and walked towards the walk in closet to look for a change of clothes for Naruto and I.

"Yeah, it's really nice," he said leaning against the pillows. We changed into comfortable clothes and got under the warm covers.

I laid facing the ceiling Naruto laying against my chest. I rested my hand on his waist. I sighed softly feeling content and happy. This was really a perfect night.
