It's like you got superpowers, turn my minutes into hours

"Where are we going?" I ask, seeing the look in Jungkook's eye that tells me he's not about to answer me. We're driving to someplace he told me he had in mind, but didn't specify. It was also a surprise when he requested for me to wear a dress, which had me even more curious.
For the past few days, he's been acting different with me. Different in a good way. All the gentle touches and patience... it's all making me feel a little special.
The car stops and we get out, and I'm surprised yet again when Jungkook reaches out for my hand to lead the way. We walk down a narrow path until we reach a deck board, and an arch with colorful flowers grabs my attention.I let go of Jungkook's hand and walk right underneath it, holding on to the railing that creates a barrier between me and the river. With a smile, I turn around to see him watching me with a small, lipped smile.
He keeps his hands un his pockets, slowly coming my way. "Do you like it?"
"I do, but I still don't know what we're doing here." I wrap my arms around his neck, feeling the heat of his hands through the material of my dress once he puts them to rest on my hips. I lean in for a small peck on his lips when a sound brings me to look back again.
Fireworks of every color roam the sky, and I turn my body to fully face the display above me. They last for a few minutes before everything calms down again. I look back as I don't feel Jungkook's touch any longer.
"Wha-" My smile turns into shock, my breath hitching as I see Jungkook down on one knee, holding up a small box with a ring inside.
My hand immediately goes up to cup my mouth as I stare down at his captivating eyes.
"Jungkook?" I whisper.
"I want you to marry me." He says first, drawing an amusing smile onto my face. "There's only one way in my life to stay happy. And that's you."
A wave of emotions hits me and I feel tears slowly glossing over my eyes as he takes my hand, eyes never leaving mine.
"You changed my perspective and taught me there's a lot more to life that I knew before." He brushes his thumb over my skin repeatedly as my tears start to fall.
"I want to give you a wedding that you deserve."
A sob leaves me as I try to smile through it, feeling like a complete mess. "I want to marry you too."
Jungkook smiles lightly, letting go of my hand for a moment to pick up the ring. It's a black round diamond that looks like it's the center of a lotus flower. Jungkook slips it on my finger and quickly stands up, closing the small box and putting it in his pocket.
I feel like I'm dreaming. This is too unusual to be true.
With his thumb, Jungkook wipes my tears away from my cheeks,
"Why all this?" I ask with a smile.
"I want it to be real this time." He says quietly and I have a feeling he's a bit embarrassed because he looks away, brushing the tip of his nose with his thumb.
My grin gets wider and I bring him close by his collar and press my lips to his own. He's fast to place his hands on my hips and pulls me in to deepen our kiss.
"That's very sweet of you."
He hums in my ear, pressing another kiss to my cheek before taking my hand and leading me down the wooden pathway that brings us to a candlelit table.
"What happened to you?" I turn around with a smile. "I'm definitely not used to this kind of treatment from you."
Jungkook comes up behind me and grabs my hips when I feel his chin rest on my shoulder. "The less you think about it, the better. Just enjoy it."
I shake my head as we take our seats and suddenly, Maurice comes out of nowhere and places my favourite dessert in front of me.
"Crème brulée?" I look over at Jungkook and see that already has his eyes on me.
"It's your favourite." He says.
"And how do you know that?"
"I don't give away my sources."
"Hm." I squint at him as he's leaned back with a glass in his hand. "You're not having any?"
He shakes his head while keeping his eyes on me.
"Too sweet for you?" I purse my lips, holding back a smile. "I understand that."
I want to tease him a little, so I take the little spoon and break the caramel on top before tasting it and making sure I lick it off the spoon.
"Mh, It's so good." I close my eyes for a moment when I taste it. I haven't had such a good one in years and I definitely want to savor it. "Your bitter soul wouldn't handle it."
His brow twitches as he watches me and I send him a grin. "Wanna try some?"
"No."
"Really?"
I have another taste, intentionally leaving some of the delicious dessert on the corner of my mouth and stand up to walk over to him.
"Give it another thought, maybe." I grin, leaning down with my both hands on the sides of his chair. Jungkook's brows twitch and he glances down at my chest before looking back into my eyes.
Slowly, he brings a hand out, pulling my chin towards him and pressing his lips on the corner of my mouth, licking it with his tongue.
"Hm, you didn't try to argue with me this time." I grin at him as he pulls me down to sit on his lap, hands secured around my waist.
Looking at me straight in the eyes, he doesn't waste another second before cupping my cheek and pressing his lips onto mine. The smallest smile appears on his mouth once he pulls back and meets my eyes again.
"Because I love you. You're always right."
