Warnings: basically the Wraiths murder rampage, blood, death, torture, decapitation, knives.

"So, what happened during the time you were in control?" I asked the forest of dry trees and dead leaves.
In response, the Wraith sent a flood of memories.

Wraith's point of view

It was pathetic how quickly the shapeshifter fell. He screamed as I shredded his mind apart, searching for the truth amongst the tangle of memories. Smoke and dust stung my nose, nearly making me cough. The destruction that I had caused here would be a blow to Wicked. Not a big one, but still large enough to be an inconvenience. And of course, I wanted to let them know I was not happy about being trapped again. I found them finally, splinters of Lillian and Nikolai.

I eyed the Crank out of the corner of my eye. I looked at James and Coralie. This plan was rather ridiculous. There was no way they would both fall for it. We waited until the little girl was away from the others before James lunged and clamped his hand over her mouth. She thrashed but he pressed a knife to her throat and she stopped. Coralie walked towards her and smirked as Lillian glared at her. In a swift movement, James knocked her out. They looked at me and I sighed. This was gonna be the death of me. I shifted into the small girl, my clothes becoming identical to hers. I focused on a bite wound forming on my arm. I showed it to them and got a nod of approval.
"Good luck," Coralie mouthed and teleported the three of them away. I cut the Crank loose and fell back away from it as it grabbed for me. I screamed loudly. I heard a shout and Y/n and Nikolai came running. She killed the Crank and quickly bundled me up in her arms. I acted scared and she stroked my head lightly. Nikolai knelt down by my side.
"It's okay," Y/n whispered, "I got you."
I gripped my arm tightly and drew her attention to it. She stared at the wound. Nikolai went off to get something.
"It's okay, remember we're Immune. Everything's gonna be fine," she promised and Nikolai returned and began cleaning the wound. He frowned suddenly.
"Where's the locket?" he asked.
My hand went to my throat, and I swore internally.
"I-I must have dropped it," I said in Lillian's rather squeakily little girl voice. Nikolai frowned again. The locket must mean a lot to them. "I lost it," I said in a more panicked tone and the frown vanished.
"We'll find it, can't have gone far," Y/n said as Nikolai bandaged the wound.
I helped look for it. Obviously, we didn't find it. The real Lillian had it.

The next memory came quicker. Connected with the first one.

Y/n unwrapped the bandage and then went pale as she saw the black lines spreading from it. She said a string of curse words under her breath. Nikolai got up and left. Y/n lightly traced over it.
"I-I'm gonna die," I forced myself to sound panicked.
"No, no," Y/n pulled me into a tight hug, "You're gonna be okay. Everything's gonna be fine. We'll figure out something," she pulled back to look me in the eye. "That's what Nikolai and I do. We figure out things."

The chain of them was easy to follow now.

I let out an inhumane as possible shriek and lunged at Y/n.
"Lil! Lillian it's me! It's your big sister, Y/n/n," she moved out of the way. "Lil!"
Eventually, she met my eyes and I felt my body overcome by a wave of exhaustion, almost like sleep. My mind, however, remained completely awake. Y/n caught me as I fell down.
"It's okay," I murmured back.
"I'm supposed to be comforting you," she was getting choked up by tears. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
"It's n-not your fault," I choked on blood.
I let my heart stop beating and my eyes look glassy. Y/n burst out sobbing and hugged onto me tightly. I felt the slightest bit of pity. I watched as she suddenly got up and carried me over to the side of the room where she laid me down and started to pull a bit of plastic over me. She hesitated and closed my eyes. I felt the plastic cover my body and heard as she ran away. I lay there and listened as the distant screaming started. The plastic was pulled back suddenly.
"Are you actually dead?" Coralie asked, nudging my side with her foot.
I opened my eyes and let myself shift back to my actual body. "Nope."
"Good, let's go," Coralie teleported us away.
