Daemon and Selaena had made their way to the Great Hall through the chaos of the city, and found Ser Erryk and a few other Kingsguard standing over Jasper Wydle and Maester Orwyle who had their hands bound.

He bowed his head as the two approached. "My Queen. My Prince. These two were found trying to escape the city."

Daemon went to rush toward them, but Selaena held him back and stepped forward.

"For your treason and conspiracy against the Crown, I sentence you both to a life sentence with the Nights Watch."

Jasper spit on the ground near her feet. "You're a crazed cunt if you believe I will take orders from you."

She raised an eyebrow. "Are you really in any position to be throwing insults?"

He laughed. "This won't last for long."

"Ser Erryk, see to it that Lord Wylde is made a new decoration outside the gates of the Keep. I would like to leave the Greens a reminder." Turning to another guard, she said. "You see to it Maester Orwyle is brought to Castle Black."

Just as the two guards left, Daegon walked into the room from the shadows. "Congratulations once again, sister. Though celebrating will have to be held off i'm afraid."

She turned to her elder brother with a questioning look. Daemon spoke up, "You must be Daegon."

"In the flesh, I commend you for putting up with Selaena for this long." He jested, causing the girl to roll her eyes.

"What is it?"

Daegon cleared his throat. "My spiders have seen The Hightowers making their way to Old Town, they should be arriving by the evening."

"Reports on the Faith Militant?"

He sighed. "Their numbers mass more everyday, majority in the Southern Reach have been swayed against you. Prince Daeron's dragon has been seen travelling throughout the Reach. Daena and the ships are stantioned on the west tip of the Redwyne Straight, but it is getting increasingly harder to stay hidden."

Selaena nodded. "Understood. Send word for Daena to infiltrate the city, I have less eyes there than I would like. Also, find Alessia, there's something I need her to do as well."

He nodded and left the room as quickly as he appeared.

"How does he do that?" Daemon questioned.

Selaena turned to him. "Hmm? What do you mean?"

"He just appears and disappears instantly."

"Ahhh, yeah that. Daegon had trained with the Faceless Men." She explained.

Daemon shuddered slightly. What is wrong with this family?

It was around dinner time the riots in the city has ceased, for it was now well known the rightful heir had now sat the Throne.

Jacaerys, Daemon and Selaena had all joined together for a meal, as Rhaenyra and the rest of the children were to remain on Dragonstone until it was safe.

As Selaena was retelling the feeling of claiming and riding a new dragon, a knock sounded on the door.

Before anyone could respond, it opened up to reveal a greasy looking man who wore a twisted smile.

He threw a bag to the floor, creating a dull thud. "A gift from the Dowager Queen."

The man was quickly restrained by the guard at the door, and Daemon went to inspect the bag.

When he opened it up, he almost dropped it, and turned to Selaena with a blank look. As Selaena peered into the bag, all she could see was the beaten and bruised severed head of her best friend.

The sounds that left the Queens mouth couldn't be described as anything but animalistic and horrific.

Daemon had ordered the beheading of the deliverer instantly, and Jace immediately had his arms around the girl who had fallen to the floor.

The only thing on Selaena's mind at that moment, was fire and blood.

"You are kidding yourself if you believe she ever truly loved us." The elder Prince scoffed.

His younger brother was silent. Aegon was right. Alicent had never been a true mother, only wanting her blood on the throne.

"So you're just going to run away?" Aemond questioned.

In the chaos that ensued during the coronation, both the Princes managed to escape, and they were currently hidden out in a brothel on the outskirts of Kings Landing.

Aegon sighed. "I never wanted any of this, Aemond, and you know that. Selaena offered me a fresh start, and I'd be mad not to take it."

"And you truly believe her?"

Aegon raised an eyebrow. "I do. If you held no faith in her you would have remained with mother."

The one-eyed Prince sighed. If he stood with Selaena, it would be standing against everything he has ever known, and with people he held resentment for. If he remained by his mothers side, he would fall back into her trap, and never be truly happy.

"Well then, I see we've made our decisions. To turning a new cloak!"

"Tyland Lannister has returned to Casterly Rock, with his return the Greens will have access to insurmountable amounts of gold. The Royal treasury could not compare." Daemon spoke to Selaena as she sipped on her wine.

"Quadruple the treasury here and that is what is held in the Valyrian Banks. I am not overly concerned with gold, it is the amount of territory loyal to the Greens. Any word from the North?"

Daemon nodded. "Lord Cregan had sent a raven back, the northmen will be making their way to the Riverlands, and his personal company will follow him to the capital."

"Excellent now if-"

Her words were cut off, as the door to her chambers opened and two bodies were shoved in.

"I found these two lurking in the halls." Jacaerys spoke.

The Princes Aegon and Aemond, dressed in common folk clothing stood before her.

"Here I was believing you went back on our deal, Aegon." She smiled.

He shook his head. "Not by a long shot. I just got a little preoccupied."

She turned to Aemond, "And you?"

He drew his sword and laid it on the ground. "I offer you my sword, in exchange I ask for my freedom when the war had concluded."

She bowed her head. "Your freedom is not mine to give, that is yours alone."

Never once hearing those words, that sentence solidified the two Prince's loyalty with her, and the Greens then lost its two most valuable members.

"Now, I think Tyland Lannister is in need of some company."

this is kinda shit. anyways let me know what u think xoxo
