Princess Ava’s POV'
Kasalukuyan nagpupulong ang mga Royal Advicers, ang Council at ang aking Ama nang pumasok ako sa throne room.
Agad kong napabagsak ang dalawang Royal Guard na humarang sa akin.
After I over heard that they had already chosen a participant, three days ago. That’s when I decided to proceed with my plan.
"What are you doing here Crown Princess?..." The king, my father, glance at me seriously from his throne.
I stood in the middle of the throne room "Forgive me for my rudeness..." Bahagya akong yumuko.
Inilibot ko ang aking paningin. "What is it? We're all ears." Said the leader of the council, he seems impatient.
The way he stood conveys power. Even though I really can tell how old is he because of his physic, however… I know he's been a leader of the council for a long time.
Magmula pa sa Ama ng aking ama. Napalingon naman ako sa Punong tagapayo. She's just a year older than me, yet I know she's capable of being the leader of the Royal Advicers.
Kaya siya inilagay sa posisyon, kahit na siya'y tinaguriang pinakabatang may mataas na katungkulan sa mga tagapayo.
From my peripheral view, I saw Reggie standing. Earlier, he was just sitting with the Royal Advisers.
Muli akong humarap sa Ama kong hari. "I am here to…suggest that the competition be stopped.”
Narinig ko ang pagbubulungan sa paligid. "I will not use my opinion to make a reason for this."
"Instead I want to state some facts..." Sa mga nakaraang araw nag-imbistiga ako. At maraming negatibong naging epekto ang kompetisyon.
"The Royal Competition will just create war, between the Kingdoms..."
"What are you trying to say?" Nagtaas na ng boses ang Pinuno ng council. Habang muling umugong ang kanilang bulong-bulungan.
Sa ganitong sitwasyon ay mukhang magiging mahaba ang usapan.
"PINAHIYA MO lang ang iyong sarili, You naive Princess" Narinig kong sambit ng pamilyar na boses.
Hinarap ko ang Punong tagapayo.
"You can no longer do anything to stop the competition. Whether you like it or not, it will continue and proceed. And it won’t end until someone worthy is chosen to become the king who will sit beside you, Crown Princess." Nakangiti siya na tila isang biro ang ginawa ko kanina.
Napakuyom ako ng aking kamao. She's really testing my patience. I can’t believe that all this time, they have just been using the competition as a cover for their plan. " Kahit naman hindi na matuloy ang kompetisyon....dahil May napili na kayong maging hari, hindi ba? And for all I know, your just using the competition to place him to that position without anyone suspecting a thing"
Hindi nagbago ang kaniyang expresyon.
Nakangisi ito, tila ba walang naging epekto ang sinambit ko sa kaniya.
"And what are you going to do if we don't stop the Competition? Tell everyone? No ones gonna believe you"
Pumihit na ito palikod at maglalakad na sana nang siya'y napahinto. "Ah.." nasambit niya kasabay ng kaniyang paghinto. Tila May nakalimutan pa itong banggitin.
"At kung May gagawin kang hakbang upang matigil ang kompetisyon. They will suffer because of your reckless decisions.."
I gritted my teeth. Alam ko na agad ang tinutukoy niya. "Subukan mong galawin ang mga mahahalaga sa akin, makikilala mo ang tunay na ako."
