Princess Ava’s POV’

We ate together, ran on the Palace garden as we use too and she taught me how to use a sword again. I just pretended not to know how to use it, I… I just missed her teaching me.

As we lay down under a tree, I stared at my Mom.

" Sana ganito nalang lagi. “ I spoke in Amarithian dialect.

" where have you been Mom, all this years?” I don’t know kung bakit iyon ang lumabas sa aking bibig. Pakiramdam ko kasi ngayon ko lang siya nakasama, which is weird.

“ What are you saying my little cab. I was with you here in the palace” Nagtataka niya akong tinignan.

I laugh as I also sat down. Tumingala ako at napagmasdan ang kulay asul na kalangitan.

Its so peaceful. I feel so relief. My Mom and dad are here with me. With Reggie by my side.

Wala na akong mahihiling pa. I feel contented.

AS I CLOSE my bedroom door, I look at my room. As I walk around, All I could see paintings of me, my Mom and my Dad. Halos mapatalon ako ng may mahulog. The painting on my bed side table, nang pulutin ko ito at tignan ay tila my vision became blurd.
Ipinikit ko ng mariin ang aking mga mata at paulit-ulit na umiling. Pagmulat ko ng aking mga mata ay unti-unting luminaw. I saw a different painting. I was with a little girl wearing a pink gown and has blonde hair. The scenario in the painting was the same. It happened during may 18th Birthday Ball.

Kunot noo ko itong tinignan. Napatalon ako sa gulat at nabitawan ang painting nang may marinig akong boses.

“ Ava please..” nagmamakaawa ang mababakas sa boses ng batang babae.

Napahawak ako sa aking dibdib dahil sa hindi ko maipaliwanag. Tila lumakas ang tibok ng puso ko. Nagsimulang pumatak ang aking mga luha mula sa aking mga mata.

Luminga-linga ako sa paligid. ‘Someone’s missing. That girl from the picture. Who is she. Why am I feeling this way?’
Napaluhod ako at hindi mapigilana ang pagpatak ng luha mula sa aking mga mata.

A loud noise was heard when someone barge into my room.
“ your highness , are you alright?” it was Reggie, who ran towards me.

He kneeled down infront of me and check if I was hurt. I raise my gaze to meet his, as a tear drop from my eye.

“ Tell me Reggie, what’s wrong with me?”

He gave me a confuse look. “ I don’t understand you yourhighness.”

“Its like I don’t belong here. I feel strange” I don’t know where those words came from.

Napalunok siya, I could see his confuse look. Dahan dahan niya akong niyakap, tila iyon lang ang alam niyang gawin sa ganitong situwasyon.

“ What’s wrong darling?” her worried voice was heard as she enter my room. I could hear her hurried footsteps, and I feel strange.

Humiwalay na si Reggie sa yakap niya sa akin, tumayo at tumabi sa gilid.

My mother kneel infront of me,place her hands on my shoulder and look at me with her woried eyes.

I cried as once again I saw her face, feel her warmth hug and hear her voice.

Ilang saglit din ay tila bumalik ang alaala ko. Tila ginigising ako ng reyalidad. She no longer can hug me nor speak to me. And I can no longer hear her voice because..
