Princess Ava’s POV’
Tanghali nang magpatawag ng pulong ang Ama kong hari. Matagal din akong inaayusan ng aking mga tagasilbi.
I enter the throne room with Reggie by my side. Nasa harap namin ang Hari at Reyna kasunod si Eleanor.
Umakyat kami kung saan nakapuwesto ang trono ng hari at katabi ang mga upuan naming bahagi ng Royal family.
In the middle where the throne there sat my Father, on his left is my Stepmom, and on her left is Eleanor.
I am on the right side of the King.
To my right stands Reggie, standing slightly bowed.
The remaining participants in the Royal Competition are Prince Chase wearing red royal attire, Prince Aillard in light blue royal attire, Knight Zane in black formal attire, and King Emerson in green Royal Attire.
They are standing in front of the crowd.
The members of the Council also attended, it seems they are complete now.
Ang punong tagapayo at ang mga Royal Advicers maliban kay Reggie ay nakatayo din sa madla .
I wonder kung anong meron kung bakit tinipon kami ng Hari para sa Isnag pulong.
“Thank you for accepting my invitation…” My father utters as he sits on his throne.
Inilibot ko ang aking paningin nang mahagip ng aking pansin ang itim na mga matang nakatitig sa akin.
As he saw me look at him a smirk formed on his face. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.
At nakuha pa niya akong asarin gamit ang kaniyang tingin ah.
Iniwas ko nalang ang aking tingin. I felt awkward as I remember what happened on that balcony.
Kasalanan yun ni Prince Chase. Oo, kasalanan niya. If only he hadn’t kept on talking and bragging, maybe I could have kept myself in check.
“It’s about the Royal Competition,” I snap back, glancing at my father when he mentions that.
Does he realize It's time to put an end to that pointless competition?
“Pansamantala muna itong ititigil…”
I look at his Majesty disappointed. Maririnig ang bulong-bulungan sa silid.
Napatingin ako sa punong tagapayo. She wore a blank expression. Taas noo itong tahimik na nakikinig.
‘Ano kayang iniisip Neto?'
“We’re having a banquet…”
Muli akong napalingon sa aking Ama.
‘Huh?’
Lumingon sa akin ang hari.
“As requested by the Crown Princess…” muli siyang humarap sa madla.
“at sa tulong ng Reyna ihahanda ang Isnag pagtitipon para sa mga Mamamayan ng Daesyn” nakita ko ang pagngiti ng aking Stepmom. I rolled my eyes.
“It’s an invitation for everyone in the Village… it will be exclusive only for our kingdom… except for the remaining participants and other powerful figures from other kingdoms who may want to attend.”
Wait, this sounds like the promise they made back then, a gathering for the villagers. The time when they didn’t allow me to invite villagers to my birthday ball. Whispers were heard inside the throne room. My father looks at me again.
Tumango ito na binibigyan ako ng senyales. Alam ko na agad ang pinapahiwatig niya.
“And I the Crown Princess… will be introduced” sambit ko na tila nag-echo sa buong throne room.
