Addy kept her mouth shut and Miss Ranyon let her go early expected the letter on her desk Monday morning no exception. At home there mother was fairly please,(if you can say that about her) to see all the girls started the work. All girls, even Addy had been able to get out of the room before midnight. Addy was out at 11:15 and happily went to bed. Stacie argued that she needed to eat a proper dinner Stacie made her a heated up plate dragged her down stairs and when she nearly fell face first into her food on her second bite Stacie called it a night. Addy crawled into the corner of the bed and fell asleep immediately. Stacie sighed leaving the room, she walked down the hall to where Emily and Beca were waiting.
"She's okay. She is just very tired and just gone to bed." Stacie pointed to get in a room so they wouldn't be out in the hall if their mother appeared. They walked down the corridor to Addy's room as it was the closest.

"Doesn't even look like hers anymore," Beca said looking around the pretty near refurbished room.

"I think that's the point. She should be back in it soon." Emily said, she was glad to be involved in the older girls' conversation, and felt she was really stepping up with the family now she was given the choice.

"We need to make sure we stay together. When we eventually all get our rooms back she is gonna try and separate us and keep us apart I just know it. It will make us more easy to manipulate and turn on each other but we can't." Stacie said getting serious it had been festering on her mind all day. Building worse and worse case scenarios in her head.

"I think you're being a bit dramatic Stace." Beca was walking around the room talking in a strangers bedroom.

"No, I wish I was but I'm not. Now let's all get some sleep. I reckon it's going to be a long weekend. " All the girls went there separate ways for the first time wishing they had school tomorrow as at least then they could escape from the house.

Addy for the first time woke up first. The looming letter and versions of it had played in her head all night long, the only reason she got to sleep was how tired she was but she didn't feel any more refreshed in the morning. Addy managed to squeeze herself out of the bed without waking Stacie up and moved onto the bathroom. She got her bandages changed all by herself, she tried putting on the cream but couldn't quite reach all of her back. She was sure Stacie would want to look at it later anyway and she would put in on then. She would have gone downstairs to get breakfast to take her meds but she didn't want to risk going downstairs and seeing her mother. She was also sure that if Stacie woke up with her sister next to her or in the room she would freak out. So she decided to start on this later as she knew it was gonna take her all weekend to come up with something that would satisfy her teacher enough not to get another detention. She moved to Stacie desk and got out some paper and a text book to through the rough drafts in to dispose of later.

Dear Miss Ranyon,

I'm so sorry I was rude to you and lied you see my sisters were really annoying to the point they made me sick and disrespectful to everyone because I was trying to act like them.

Nope! Thats not going to work.

Dear Miss Ranyon,

Everyone had expected me to be popular and I only know that from teenage movies where the popular girls are bitches. So sorry it won't happen again, as I am thoroughly unpopular.

Better excuse but she will never belive that Addy thought. As much as she hated to admit it Miss did know her better than she cared to let on. It needed to be real.

Dear Miss Ranyon,

The real reason I was an arsehole to everyone because after you called my mother to tell her I was dyslexic she beat me with a belt 50 odd times and made Beca and Staice watch. then left me to get my back infected. And as Beca and Stacie have been abused by my mom for so long I asked Beca for advice, which I now know was a mistake as she told me to pretend it never happened and I am not a strong enough person I deceided to be someone else. But that was too hard and I pissed everyone off and my back got infected and we couldn't go to the hospital cause how would believe us. But I'm okay now, I can't go to your after school because my mom says I need to stop being stupid and just get on with it. SO that's what I'm going to do.
