Back at Home the girls thought upon what to do. In the end, Ali and Chloe hadn't come back to their house. Stacie had sent out a message saying it wasn't a good idea. Addy had gotten worse throughout the day. She was sickly pale, couldn't keep any food down, and slept all day. She barely walked because she was so weak. Stacie had moved Addy to the couch, so that they could hear her if anything was wrong. They all stood around the kitchen island.
"We are going to have to call mom. I don't see another way. She is getting worse. And I don't want to leave it too long. Miss Holmes has got in my head." Stacie says putting her head in her hands.
"Stacie let's be honest you can't do this either. This is your senior year and you are missing school. We don't know how long this will last. And maybe if we get her checked out then you can get back quicker. And not to be rude but you look a mess as well." Emily said being realistic as ever. It was a conversation everyone needed to be in with. Because their mom will be involved which causes a strain on everyone. They had never had to call their mom like this before. A couple of times limbs had been broken but their mom had taken them to the doctors then, otherwise they would deal with things themselves. Stacie had nursed all the girls to health when they had been ill. So they never had to deal with something as bad as this. Stacie normally could deal with everything sick, fevers, everything. But this was too big even for her.
"Are we 100% sure? Maybe wait another day. Like this is big and getting Mom involved. It is going to get us all in trouble, for doing nothing." Beca says concerned. She also knew the Emily thing. The thing where she wiped all the cameras which we all know will be brought up.
"Maybe we should just take her to the hospital?" Emily suggested.
"Emi-"
"No! I'm serious. We could ask Miss Holmes if she could take us. We could get it properly checked out without getting her involved."
"Yes but when the doctors look at her back and think why is this here. They aren't idiots, they will work it out and then guess who will be there! And then we will be in even more shit. So no!" Stacie says getting more stressed.
"But then what if-" Emily tried again and Beca put her arm out to stop her. She didn't want the argument now.
"So..." Beca said.
"So, I guess we're doing this. You guys can go if you want. I don't think it's going to be pretty." Stacie said, getting out her phone.
"I'll stay. Emily you go sit with Addy just in case she wakes up. We should bring her back upstairs soon." Beca said and Emily nodded. Stacie dialed and Beca reached out and grabbed her arm to say she was with her too.
The phone rang until it was just about to stop.
"Stacie! This is highly inappropriate. I'm at work what could be more important than that." Their mother answered. Pissed off as they assumed. Stacie thought but didn't say 'your daughters' she needed her mothers help.
"I'm sorry I would have called you after you finished but I didn't know when that was. You aren't here a lot." Stacie said, trying to keep it polite.
"Oh I'm sorry do you not like having a roof over your head or fancy clothes or your car. I'll take it all back. I'm a single mother trying to do it all by myself. This call better be worth it. What couldn't wait until I was back later!" Stacie assumed her mother was alone as she normally puts on a better tone around people.
"It's about Addy-"
"Adelaide! For Christ sake why give her a name if you are all doing to change it. What's wrong with the Idiot now. She can't read so they kicked her out of that pathetic school. I thought I made myself clear about getting her grades up. I will not have so dumb idiot for a daughter. Go on then we haven't gone all day..." Stacie took a deep breath before she continued.
