Emily stormed upstairs she was done with thinking that she had to be the one that didn't need help and wasn't a problem. She decided she was. Not an Addy kinda problem. But a her kinda problem. She texted Ali, one of her friends, and asked to crash round hers tonight. There was no doubt the answer would be yes she just needed a to worn her before turning up at the door step. She had gone round Ali's a lot she was close with the family without actually telling them much about home life but then when you live where Emily does nobody thinks there is anything wrong. She packs her school bag for the following day and some clothes for the day remembering anything else she will need to bring. Before booking a Taxi to take her to Ali's.

As Emily steps out of the bedroom she stops and looks down the hall and walks towards Addy's room. It's silent apart and from the small sound of steps and you would think that she may be asleep except from the light being on and shinning through the bottom of the door. Emily knocks and enters not minding if it's pisses off Addy she doesn't care at this point.

Addy as her AirPods in and is painting rather aggressively with her back to the door. Emily picks up a pen from the floor and throws it at her making her aware of Emily's presence as it clearly wasn't seen before.

"Get out! You're meant to knock!" Addy raised her voice at Emily.

"I did! And whatever I just wanted to say..." Emily was interrupted.

"Great getting the same speech from you about my attitude blah blah blah save it I don't need it." Addy said raising her hand to put her AirPod back in her ear which she had taken out.

"Wait! I wasn't actually gonna say that. I was gonna say you have homework and shit that you need to do. And no I'm not saying change your newly found attitude but I am saying you need to bring your grades up because mom will know if you don't and I don't want the same thing to happen to you again." Emily said turning to leave.

"Sorry." Addy mumbled and Emily had to question if she had just imagined it.

"Sorry for snapping so quickly and thank you for being you know..." Addy continued, Emily knew what she was getting at and nodded.

"Do what you want with your life but know that if your grades don't go up then you will have your teachers and our mom on your case. And we both know which is worse." Emily said.

"It's just hard and..." Emily interrupted this time.

"And if you didn't push us away I can name three people in this house that would have helped you. But you're welcome to try on your own but if you need help you know what to do!" Emily picked up her bag from the door at and started to walk.

"Going somewhere?" Addy questioned.

"Just a friend's. I need to cool off. Maybe you do too." And at that Emily walked down the stairs and left not glancing to look at the mess that was in the kitchen. Stacie was still crying and emotional. While Beca looked up to see Emily walk out, and then turn back to Stacie who saw the same thing.

"Where is she going? I messed this up so badly!" Stacie said crying more.

"Hey no you didn't. You are trying to be there for everyone. And be the one helping everyone. And sometimes it gets too much okay. Every just needs time to go off and sort things out and reflect okay. Your okay your doing a good job! But you live with a bunch of teenage girls. We are gonna all argue at some point or another. So don't worry. You go do what you want put on a movie and I will be there in a minute I will get us some popcorn and clear up this. And you never know Addy May come down and end up watching too. But if she doesn't, that's okay too she needs her time." Beca finished as she helped Stacie up as she wandered to the cinema room and Beca began cleaning. Stacie stopped at the door way and looked back to Beca.

"You have your moments Beca, were you just know." Stacie said before leaving.

"I know I'm the best!" Beca yelled back and heard Stacie chuckle slightly which made Beca smile more.
