Addy had walked the long ways around from Maths to English. Miss Holmes had only shouted at her a few times in both Maths and Homeroom and know she found herself late to English but she wasn't worried all that she did know was that it was an awful lot of effort pretending that she didn't care. She walked in even though the door was closed not bothering to knock or apologise for being late.
"Addy that is strike one. Three strikes and you are sent out of my classroom and I will make you do your work in the library and also Friday detention with me. If I were you I would sit there in silence and complete your work I am not letting you get away with anything in my classroom, Understood?" Miss Ranyon didn't look at Addy and give her that satisfaction. The news of Addy's newly found attitude was the talk of the staff room mainly teachers complaining that she ended up just like her sister and that they knew it or whatever. And that Addy has revealed her true self but this isn't what Miss Ranyon believed that something must of happened over the weekend and most of her thinks it's something to do with her sisters but won't push yet.
Addy rolled her eyes and sat down in her seat she slouched and and continued to chew her gum, she pulled out her phone under the table and was texting away to Kate about the party. This went on for about 10 minutes before Miss Ranyon slammed her hands on Addy's desk making her look up and stop chewing for a second.
"Strike two! Phone and spit your gum in the bin! Kate, Phone!" Miss Ranyon said collecting their phones and putting it in her desk. Addy got up and walked painfully slowly to the bin.
"Hurry up, or are you planning to get another strike?" Miss Ranyon voice echoed with sarcasm.
"You can't give me a strike for walking!" Addy said.
"But I can for you wasting lesson time and back talking!" Miss Ranyon said as Addy sat down.
"Jeez you're a bit up tight! Did you wake up on the side of the bed Miss?" Addy said patronisingly, as the room starting laughing."
"And that is your third strike!"
"Ugh"
"Get up and get out! Wait outside! After I have given out the work I will go and give you your work!" Miss Rayon yelled and Addy walked casually out the door not phased by what was happening. Addy waited outside before Miss Ranyon came out silently and walked to the classroom next door to ask the teacher to watch her class for a second.  Nothing was said on the way to the library and I think the silence disturbed her Addy more than being yelled at. Before the library Miss Ranyon stopped and turned around she explained the work and told Addy to come to her at the end of the lesson.

The bell rang for the end of the class and Addy walked back slowly. Miss Ranyon was sat at her desk and when Addy walked in she just was told to sit at her desk. Miss Ranyon finished her work and looked up at Addy.
"You will come to me in here on Friday. If you do not then you will get and extra a Friday added on to the original amount. Understood?" Addy nodded standing up from her desk going to collect her phone, "I will not let you disrespect me in my classroom or outside of it. You will learn that their are consequences to your actions. I will not expect this behaviour in our sessions after class. I don't know why you are acting out and have changed but when you realise who YOU are we can talk. My door is always open if you need to talk because I believe people don't change overnight for no reason, so if or when you want to tell me you can. But whatever has happened I will not tolerate this behaviour. So check your attitude and watch what you say because next time I won't let you text for ten minutes under the table to Kate. I gave you an opportunity to do the right think and put your phone away but you didn't next time, you don't get time to think. You do! I know you know what is right as you have done it this whole time before so I don't know what you are thinking. Know do you need to be walked down to Miss Holmes' room or do you think you can make it their on your own?" Miss Ranyon handed back Addy's phone and turned back to her computer.
"I'll be fine, I am not five, for fucks sake!" Addy mumbled walking out!
"Attitude! Miss Mitchell we just talked about this." Addy said nothing to this and walked out not wanting to have her talk her to Miss Holmes as that isn't where she is going she now has to face her sisters in the car ride home. Addy thinks she would have preferred Miss Holmes.
