The girls got out of the pool holding hands and smiling. They grabbed towels and quickly made their way inside. Just before they hit the doors to go in Emily looked up and her smile dropped suddenly. She was meant with one of her security cameras. She panicked, and dropped Ali's hand.
"What's up?" Ali asked as all of the colour drained from Emily's face.
"Shit I'm sorry, I don't want to ruin the relationship. Friendship, I just thought you wanted to as well, I guess I got the wrong message. I am so sorry." Ali rushed terrified that she had messaged up. Emily looked up at the camera and pushed Ali backwards out of the view of the camera. And kissed Ali again, hoping that that had calmed Ali down reassuring her.
"I hope that calms your nerves. I don't regret kissing you. I just regret kissing you in front of the camera." Emily said pulling Emily by the hand and into the kitchen making sure no one was there.
"What do you mean?" Ali asked, at this point Emily was pacing furiously muttering to herself. Water dripping off both girls and Emily spreading it around the kitchen.
"My mom. If she checks the security cameras she is going to kill me?!?" Emily says stopping to look at Ali.
"Why is she going to?" Ali asked innocently.
"Because she is a very strict women, and is going to hate this!" Emily said trying not to wake the whole house.
"Basically your Mom is homophobic." Ali said looking down, "But Beca..."
"I mean putting it like that is a bit strong. But she really doesn't get on with Beca and it causes a lot of... complications." Emily says sitting down.
"What do you mean by... complications." Ali said sitting next to Emily.
"It doesn't matter. I just need to... delete the video yea... delete it." Emily tried to get herself together.
"Well, before you delete it can you get me a copy..." Ali smirked and Emily pushed her lightly. Ali sensed she was still very tense she reached and put her hands on Emily's and traced her finger around in circles.
"We should probably go upstairs, it's getting late." Emily said, "You can go shower and I need to talk to Beca about the camera." Ali nodded as they let go of hands and walked upstairs.

Emily knocked on Beca's door knowing she would still be awake. She opened to find Beca on her computer with her headphones on. Suddenly she turned around and jumped seeing Emily's presence.
"I did knock."
"I can imagine." Emily closed the door and moved to go sit on Beca's bed very seriously she was panicked and Beca sensed it.
"Hey, what's up?" Beca was concerned she had never seen Emily this stressed. She fully took off her headphones from her head.
"Do you know how the cameras work outside?" Emily stated which seemed like an obvious trick question to Beca.
"Yea they record what's happening."
"No I mean like do we have a video that we can see from the camera?"
"Somewhere yea I'm sure...Why?" Beca was suspicious of what was happening.
"I just need to delete something that's on the camera. It's something that would cause me to get in trouble. I don't want that to affect anyone else in the house." Emily said clearly referring to the Addy situation. Emily did a lot of reading between the lines about what was going on.
"Emily you didn't do drugs did you?" Beca said thinking that would be the main reason she would be told off fair from the truth. Little did she know Ali was the only thing in her mind like a drug.
"No I didn't I just... Please Beca?" Emily pleaded she needed to do this the sooner the better.
"Okay... Well she does it all through a company. She has it all saved and I assume she goes through it. That is how she find out about me and Chloe. She must have it in the house as the camera's are here and are all stored. Like previous records. But as she is hardly ever here, It's probably also sent to her somewhere else. Work computer maybe her phone, wait..." Beca turned around and typed on the computer looking up the security company.
"You can have an app on your phone to see what is going on as well. But it isn't't like you can take her phone. She probably checks it all the time knowing her." Emily lets out a shaky breath as she is terrified and trying not to cry. Beca panicky reached forward putting her hand on Emily's knee.
"We should tell Stacie she could help."
"NO! We need to do this. She has Addy. And she will ask too many questions?"
"I wanna ask questions."
"Beca?" Emily sounded panicked, and Beca needed to help she understand the fear. She leant back and thought for a minute about what to do.
"Okay...No Stacie... She would put the computers with it on somewhere we wouldn't go. Or not allowed to. So... her office and her bedroom. Other than that it's all free range. So..."
"I will go and see and get into it thanks." Emily said getting up and going to the door.
"Emily... wait. If this doesn't work you are going to be in a lot of trouble. Even if it does work she may still be suspicious. You are not doing it alone."

Emily told Ali they were sorting it, and that she can shower and go to sleep. Or watch Tv while she was gone and she would be back shortly. Beca and Emily discussed the possible fact that their mother may come home any second or not at all and that 50% chance meant they had to work quickly. They tried the bedroom first as that's where they started. They had never been in their mothers room so the feeling of trying the handle felt foreign to them. Not to their surprise it was locked. They proceeded to go downstairs and look in the draw where they keep spare house keys, and other keys. No keys fit their mothers bedroom so that was a dead end. However they did get into the office which seemed like a much better place where some that would keep the video.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Beca asked Emily grabbing her arm before walking into the office.
"Yes, are you?"
"Well you're not doing it alone." Emily went straight to the computer that was in the middle of the room. And sat in the chair, Beca looked around the room careful not to touch to touch or move anything out of place. Beca coughed and pointed to the left top corner behind Emily. There was another camera. Great something else to wipe, both girls thought.
"What's her password?" Emily said looking at Beca.
"How should I know." Beca replied as Emily leant back in her chair.
"You are good with computers, think?" There was a moment of silence as the girls were thinking what to do.
"It could be anything and there is probably another one to get into the cameras and then wipe them. Are we sure we can pull this off?" Beca said doubtful she knew both her and her sister were in a lot of risk by being here alone.
"We haven't got a choice now! We are in here and I can't get anyone in trouble."
"It would help if you told me what you did I could help?"
"No! Please Beca I know it is bad or I wouldn't be doing it!"
"Okay, She has different passwords for everything, she lectured Stacie once that it was easy to get into all of her things. So she wouldn't just have them all by memory. She is getting older now so may forget them plus all the others she would have it written down somewhere. " Beca said after a few moments of thought.
"Like... a filing cabinet?" Which Beca had been leaning against. She tried, it was locked. Next Emily went through the draws at the desk and didn't find any passwords or anything that would contain them but then she came across a key. She held it up then threw it to Beca who unlocked the cabinet she went through each folder and under different folders where different passwords. They found both for the computer and the cameras.

After a while of Emily logging in getting the camera up she was going through the footage.
"Why haven't you done this before, wipe the cameras?" Emily asked Beca, who shrugged, "It wouldn't have got you in trouble with Chloe."
"We don't do a lot on cameras. They aren't upstairs but everything else downstairs is. If we wiped things all the time we couldn't do it now. She would know. That's why we have to be careful now." Emily nodded as made a point.
"I'm going to wipe all the camera's at that time to make it look like the system went down all over the house at that time so no suspicion is caused. Also wipe it from the trash so nothing can be restored. Hopefully." Emily said.
"That's why you're the smart one. I would have never thought of that." Emily finished up as they locked everything back up and made it look like it was before. They got outside the door, locked it and returned the keys back to the draw.
"Are you going to tell me what you wiped?" Beca asked before going upstairs.
"When I'm ready and I fully know what it means. Hopefully." Beca nodded and understood when the time was right Emily would reach out to her, she smiled to herself knowing that this had repaired some of the relationship.
"Oh and Em, don't tell the others the less people know the better it will look as they won't know and still be shocked if Mom brings it up." Beca said before going into her room. Emily nodded before going to join Ali.
