Stacie didn't drive Addy to the hospital. It was too much of a risk that they would look at her back and ask questions that the girls couldn't give a solid answer to and cause more suspension than any good. Also there would be questions why their mother wasn't there and then they would have to deal with what their mother would have to say when they get back and the complexity of all of that caused Stacie more stress than it was worth. She had to put Addy first. She was the thing that was needed to give attention to the most. If this was all caused by her back, which is the only thing Stacie could think of, then she could sort it out. She would google what to do and clean it. Or she may have even just eaten something and caused Addy to have an upset stomach and which caused her to throw up, but then again it wouldn't explain everything else. The dizziness, light headed, the more the usual pain in her back suggest its not the flu but something serious. If it wasn't getting better by this evening or later tomorrow morning then she would take her to the hospital and have to live with the fact that her mother would shout and cause a fuss but it's better than Addy being in more pain than necessary.

When they got home, after stopping multiple times so that Addy could throw up at the side of the road, Stacie carried Addy up to Addy's room. Addy had been too weak to move and even though Addy had insisted on walking Stacie had picked her up before she could complain too much. Addy was so light and as Stacie works out even if you didn't think it Stacie was a lot stronger than she looks. She went and sat her on the bed and told Addy to take off her hoodie and her shirt.
"No, I'm cold!" Addy refused but when Stacie had explained she did it still shivering but thought whatever Stacie was going to see it wasn't going to be good. Stacie went to the end of Addy's bed and got her a blanket. Addy was sitting just in her bra and the blanket was pulled over her so that she could remain warm. She cared very little about being only sitting in her bra infront of her sister but it was just like being in a bikini and as there wasn't much to hide anyway. When Stacie looked at Addy's back she couldn't hide the gasp that slipped out of her mouth. Her back was very infected, every single slash through her back seemed to be infected. Explains the nausea and chills and all the pain.
"What? Stacie tell me?" Addy said through tears, considering the amount of pain it is going through, Stacie was impressed she seemed this controlled.
"I think your back is just infected, which is good, i should be able to short it out without going to the hospital. But not good in the respect that you are going to be in pain like this for a day or two maybe. I'll need to clean your back though. And it's going to hurt. A lot." Stacie said feeling horrible. It was difficult not to turn away in disgust at her back. The smell of the infection was also enough to make Stacie throw up as well. It looked bad but also gave her flashbacks from the other day, which is something that neither girl wanted to relive.
"Okay, if you go change into the bikini with the like rope back bit you know? So that there is less on your back so I can clean it. I am gonna run down the stairs and get the stuff to clean it. I'll be a second I promise. Then I'll stay with you." Addy nodded as they went their separate ways. Addy changed and sat back in the blanket. Suddenly they felt like throwing her full contacts of her stomach up again so she grabbed the blanket and ran to her bathroom and sat in it again. It hurt it hurt so much but there was nothing she could do about it.

"Bad news, i haven't got any dressing to wrap your back in. So I'm just going to clean it for now and we can sit here. I can run out and get some though?" Stacie said coming and slowly the pace down when she saw Addy throwing up again. Addy shook her head, showing that she couldn't leave. She quickly got her phone out and asked Beca to grab some because Stacie didn't want Addy to put anything on her back when it was open but it was difficult when Addy was shivering in cold but sweating like she was in a sauna.
"Okay, I'll stay here. I'm gonna get Beca to grab some. You just can't put anything on it so you're just gonna have to wrap your front half until then. Do you want me to just start on your back?" Addy nodded knowing it was better to just get it over with. Stacie had directed her to sit on the edge of the bath and that if she needed to just get up and go to the toilet to throw up. And if it was necessary and felt like she couldn't make it then to throw up in the bath. Do what she had to do because her back had to be done and it was going to take a while and cause a whole lot of pain. Stacie gave her arm a reassuring squeeze because started and as soon as she started Addy wailed out in pain, pushing her to the feeling of throwing up again.

At school after Miss Holmes watched the car pull away and walked back into the school where the principle was stood waiting for her to come back in,
"Poor girl!" Mrs Johnson said, as Miss Holmes walked to her, "Probably just the bad flu maybe something she ate."
"I don't know she was with me at break in detention when suddenly she went all pale and looked sick. She went up to storm off and passed out. Then the next second she is violently throwing up and her mum just says for her to just get up and over it for the rest of the day. Seriously? Thank you for letting Stacie go." Miss Holmes said, she clearly cared about Addy more than she would admit. She also believed those four girls were hiding something.
"No problem. I know what other teachers have said and I know that they aren't fond of many of the girls but they are good kids that easily get led astray. And think about it, being popular in this day is probably more difficult than normal. But their mother isn't fond of the school. Very job focused and clearly wants kids to be in private school. The usual thing that happens when you have that much money. But you called out her new found attitude?"
"So the mom is just not fond of the school? Nothing else? Nothing else we know of?" Miss Holmes asks as Mrs Johnson gets her to follow her to her office, "But yea I called her out. It was getting to the point where it was disrespectful and I needed to do something. I think she is closest with Myself and Miss Ranyon so hopefully she was going to open up with us and tell us why she changed. I just don't know what happened."
Mrs Johnson wasn't listening to the end of the statement as much she cared about what she was saying she was caught up on the first statement.
"What do you mean nothing else with their mother, do you know something, or suggesting something more serious?" Mrs Johnson asked. Miss Holmes thought about this. She couldn't accuse someone of something that she may be making up in her head. She didn't even know what she was suggesting just there were big gaps in everyone's story. And she wanted to find the missing pieces.
"No, I was just wondering. Nothing like that, I don't know anything. Just making sure everything is alright." Miss Holmes sounded more panicked than it intended.
"Okay, that's good. You can read the girls file though if you still seemed concerned. I'm just going to call Beca and Emily down here in a second so you can explain you are welcome to use my office to tell them. I'm just going to do a quick walk around when they get here check classes are going as normal the casual thing. Luckily you have a free period next.." Miss Holmes nodded she was originally planning to get marking done during this time but this was way more important. The announcement was made over the speaker for the girls to come down. Mrs Johnson left as Miss Holmes started to look through the files. She didn't know what she was looking for. Just any absences or concerns any teachers may have had that would be able to piece together anything she had. When she dropped the girls off late she may be able to see Addy and then get a better idea of what was on her back but all she knew is that she couldn't ask directly.
