A few weeks later everyone was fully into the first term and no one talked about the other night and after that one day off both Stacie and Beca were back to school and Stacie used make up to cover the bruises and no one said anything about it. Addy stopped the attitude and apologised to Morgan but still never found out what Miss Ranyon wanted to talk to her about because after she never turned up they didn't mention anything to her. What Addy didn't know is that Miss Ranyon and Miss Holmes had been keeping an eye on Addy and hadn't seen much improvement and were going to talk to her. They had talked to Addy's history teacher Miss Fry and realised that it had been effecting other subjects.

Beca had also gotten closer to Chloe over these last couple of weeks. They have kept their relationship on the down low, sneaking around and hanging out in the library to avoid people and be together. Chloe's dream to be with Beca is coming true except she doesn't really know that they are together.

It was Maths class last lesson and Addy was struggling. She didn't feel comfortable asking for help. She tried to avoid the problem and was talking to Morgan who was going around her house tonight after a lot of convincing she agreed.

"I can't wait to get home, it's too hot!" Addy started a conversation with Morgan to avoid doing work.

"I know right, I'm so sweaty."

"We can go in the pool when we get to mine in you want?" Morgan looked at her shocked.

"You failed to mention you have a pool!" Morgan shouldn't be surprised really Addy's family was rich.

"Don't worry you can borrow one of my swimming costumes!" The school bell rang and everyone raced to give in their maths book and go home.

"Addy can you wait?" Miss Holmes called and Addy mumbled great to Morgan who was stood with her as well.

"I need you to stay after school today!"

"What? You can't do that I have things planned!" Addy said annoyed.

"It's only an hour! Come on, we need to go tell your sister so she can drive home and get you later as I know she drives you home. And I'm going to come so that you find your way back this time." Addy huffed but didn't push, she apologised to Morgan to agree to wait around so they could go back together.

"Stacie!" Addy yelled as she made her way over to Stacie's car as Miss Holmes stood at the pavement looking from a distance.

"Jump in then squirt!" Stacie said beginning to get in herself.

"Can't Miss Holmes wants me to stay after school and Morgan is going to hang around outside. Sorry! Could you pick us up in an hour? Please!" Stacie nodded and groaned as she got into the car and drove off.

Addy followed Miss Holmes back inside and was surprised when they didn't go to her classroom but to Miss Ranyon's.

"Wait, what's this about?" Addy's heart was racing as they entered the class room.

"Hi Addy! Could you just read this for me?" Miss Ranyon asked handing over the text that caused the confusion in the first place.

"Why?"

"Addy please..." Addy took the bit of paper and looked at it the words semed to get mixed up but she tried. "Mary moved through the... the... I don't know okay is that what you want. You want to make me look like and feel like an idiot because if it is you have succeed." Addy turned to leave but was stopped.

"Addy, we weren't doing it to be mean and your not stupid. Just come with us for a second. You are going to do this informal test just to check to see if our suspicions our right. But you aren't stupid." Both Miss Ranyon and Holmes walked her to outside a room to see if she is going to be dyslexic or not.

"What if I don't want to?" Addy asked quietly and Miss Ranyon turned around and crouched in front of Addy.

"Listen, we are going to wait out here for when you come out and we can talk about what we are going to do to help you but you have to trust us. We are going to sit right here." Miss Ranyon sat down in front of the lockers on the floor which is probably riddled with disease but made Addy smile and walked into the room.

Half an hour later and too much testing for Addy's liking she walked out with a bit of paper confirming what just happened. As Addy walked out Both Miss Holmes and Ranyon stood up and she handed over the bit of paper as they entered the nearest empty class room.

"So..." Miss Holmes said looking sadly at Addy as you could see the upset imprinted on her face.

"So what? I'm an idiot. This just proves it. You can stick a fancy name on it to try and sugar coat it but i'm stupid. I thought...I thought I wasn't stupid, I thought that this would all just go away but its not. I'm stuck like this. Like an idiot." Addy said breaking down tears began falling down her face as she felt ashamed and embarrassed.

"Addy, look at me you aren't an idiot. It just means that you find stuff..." Addy cut in Miss Holmes speaking.

"I know what it means the woman told me about it."

"Okay, so you know but Miss Ranyon and I are going to help you. We are going to work with you and Miss Fry and the school knows now so you can get help in other classes from your teachers and we are here for you. And take that sheet home to show to your family which are there to support you. Many people have it, it's okay. I understand yours is pretty bad but we are going to help you." Miss Holmes said trying to comfort Addy.

"How?" Addy choked out.

"We were thinking you stay after school and we can help with homework and school work and come up with ways to make it better." Miss Ranyon answered.

"Everyday?"

"Well, we were going to give you Fridays off and then come to one of us every other day to begin with." Miss Ranyon chuckled at Addy's hock at everyday.

"And Mondays off too?" Addy asked and stated making Miss Holmes and Rayon laugh.

"Not to start with. Come to me tomorrow after school, then you get Friday to yourself and then go to Miss Holmes on Monday. We are going to get this under control and it's going to be great." Miss Ranyon said handing back the sheet of paper Addy gave them and Addy wiped her eyes calming down.

"Okay but could you not tell people please?" Addy asked.

"The school now knows as the results go straight onto the database if you do the test but other than that we won't say anything."

"Okay. I'm gonna go now."

"Okay sweetheart, enjoy your evening with Morgan and see you tomorrow. Don't stress out about it and show the sheet to your family." Miss Holmes said as Addy walked out. Addy walked outside to meet Morgan but stopped to stuff her phone and the bit of paper in her bag and wanted to forget about it.

"You ready to go?" Addy asked Morgan.

"Yeah, what was that about?"

"Oh, nothing. Let's go!" Addy said, she was going to make sure no one knew if it was the last thing she did.
