Baby? (Part 2, Rina)

Gina's POV
"Ricky!" I called from my spot on our couch.

"Yeah, Baby?"

"Could you come here a second?"

"What's up?" He asked, walking in.

"Can you rub my back quick, carrying a baby makes you sore."

"Of course I can." He said, sitting down. He lifted up my shirt and then placed his hands on my back.

"Thanks." I said, arching my back a bit.

"It's nothing." He wrapped his arms loosely around my middle, feeling my small bump. "I love this."

"Mmm, me too."

"And I love you. Thank you for making me a father."

"Well you're making me a mother, so I would say the same."

"Well, yeah. But, Gina, you're literally holding a human being inside of you for three quarters of a year. It's a beautiful thing and you're so brave and strong."

"How'd I ever get you."

"I fell in love. And you deserve to be loved."

"Not anymore than you."

"I've made a handful of mistakes."

"God, have you met me?"

"We're only human."

"Only human."

"Hey, Sweetie. I have work, I'm sorry. Are you doing anything today?"

"I think I'll walk to Ash and Maddox's. Their only a mile away."

"Gina, I'll drive you, you're not walking in this state."

"Okay, I'll hurry to get ready and I'll meet you in the car."

"Hey, Gi, how are you?" Ashlyn asked.

"I'm good. How are you two?" I made my way slowly over to their couch.

"We're great." Maddox exclaimed. "How are you feeling...and the baby?"

"We're good. Both of us."

"Oh, good. Can I get you anything?"

"Some water would be nice, thank you."

"Of course." Ashlyn brought me a cup of water, and I sipped it slowly, rubbing my hand up and down my stomach.

"Kicks?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"I can't wait to meet this baby."
