Gina's POV
"Can I kiss you?" He suddenly asked.

"Really?"

"Yeah." He took my hand, pulling me out onto the porch.

"I-I don't want to get my heart broken or to lose anyone else."

"I'm not gonna let you go. Ever. You can trust me."

"Ricky, I've never...kissed anyone before."

"I'll show you how." He wrapped his sweatshirt around me.

"Show me, Ricky Bowen."

We walked back inside with our hands intertwined, and his sweatshirt now fully on me.

"Hey, Guys, where were you- oh." Nini stepped into the entry from the kitchen with a root beer in hand.

"Nini, I'm sorry, I-" Nini cite me off.

"Gina, stop, it's okay. I'm happy for you two, really."

"Yeah?" Ricky asked, squeezing my hand.

"Yes. I love being Ricky's friend, and just that."

"Okay." I whispered. "Okay." I said a bit more confidently.

"Congrats, Gina." Nini, wrapped her arms around me.

"Thanks, Neen." Ricky kissed my cheek as she walked away.

We were good.

Ricky and Gina sat together on the couch now, hand in hand. They had just become a couple about an hour ago, and Gina didn't exactly know how to go about things in a fresh relationship.

Even after your first kiss, how often do you kiss? When do you say I love you? How do you know you do love them? What type of physical affection takes place in front of friends? What kind on your own?

Gina didn't know, and she was depending on Ricky to show her how to do certain things.

They didn't say anything, just appreciated each others presence.

"Im gonna head out." Nini smiled, standing up. "And for the record, you two are pretty cute. I knew your guy would come, Gi." Nini gave Gina a quick side hug on her non-occupied side.

"Thank you, Neen."

"See y'all later, Buddies"

They were in a good place.
