Ricky Has Baby Fever

Ha! Two posts in one day! Look at me. I did ten in one day once when Puppy Love started (not to mention it was on the day HSMTMTS s4 was released), but this is good for me recently! Enjoy!

Ricky's POV
Gina wasn't home from work yet, and unfortunately, I've found a new task to do when I get home daily. To look at baby pictures and clothes. And I hate myself for it.

Gina walks in, looking thoroughly exhausted, like she does everyday.

"Hey, Baby." She mumbles, plopping beside me.

"Hi, Sweetheart. How was your day?"

"Meh. It's fine."

"Really?"

"Mhm?"

"They did something weird to your hair today?" I ask, noticing her curls still intact, but different than usual.

"Yeah. Feels not right." She grumbles, looking at me.

I shut my phone off.

"This help?" I start massaging her scalp gently.

"Mhm."

"Gi...? I haven't wanted to bring this up. I know you've been so busy and stressed lately, but it's kind of been affecting me, so I need to put it out there."

"Okay...? Honey, just say it."

"We don't need to act on this anytime soon, but...I've been seeing this stuff a lot." I pull up the images.

She looks up at me from where she lays in my lap, no judgement in her eyes, but a slight blush.

"Ricky. You- is my husband having baby fever...?"

"Maybe..." I blushed.

"It's okay, Honey. But...you know my body just isn't there right now."

"I know Sweetie, I just mean, that-"

"Shh...it's fine. I know. I was going to say that I don't have any jobs lined up after this one...we'll have some more free time."

"Yeah?"

"And I think I'll be ready then."
