Rosabelle was passing by a classroom when she couldn't help but overhear the students groaning, followed by Severus' stern voice.

"Finish these essays today, or I'll make sure your Christmas won't be quite as enjoyable. Weasley, I don't need your prattling in my class. Class dismissed."

Afterward, the students filed out of the classroom, their disgruntled expressions not escaping Rosabelle's notice. She couldn't help but chuckle. Inspired by Severus' approach, she decided to assign her own students some work, though she was far more lenient with the deadline.

"Professor Rosabelle, please, can you help us?" Ron pleaded as the students encountered her outside the classroom.

"I don't mind, personally. I've already completed half of it myself. Have a wonderful Christmas, Professor," Hermione chimed in with a smile before excusing herself, earning a chorus of boos from the rest of her classmates.

Rosabelle grinned and patted Ron's head. "It's for your own benefit, Mr. Weasley. Make sure you finish the essay by today, alright?" She addressed the class.

"Bloody hell, the Heir of Slytherin is on the loose, and we're being saddled with assignments? Are essays really more important than our lives?" Ron grumbled, his irritation evident.

"Shut up, Weasley, or you'll drive Professor Rosabelle mad with your complaining," Draco retorted, rolling his eyes at Ron before departing with his friends.

Harry let out a heavy sigh. "Well, considering it's Professor Snape, he'd probably still collect our essays even if Hogwarts were engulfed in flames."

"You know I can't change his mind, right? Sorry, my dears. Have a wonderful Christmas," Rosabelle tousled Ron and Harry's hair affectionately before entering the now-empty classroom.

She could hear the collective chorus of "Happy Christmas" from the students behind her.

Rosabelle spotted Severus packing his things and tidying his desk, his back turned to her.

With a quick, sneaky move, she hurried over and embraced him from behind, nuzzling her nose into his back.

Severus tensed at first, but as he recognized his wife's touch, he relaxed.

"Your students were complaining about you, darling," she murmured.

Severus scoffed slightly as he rolled his eyes, "Let them be."

Reluctantly letting her husband go, Rosabelle perched herself on his desk, gazing down at him as she idly played with his fingers resting on the desk.

Unbeknownst to her, Severus mumbled a spell to lock the classroom door before stepping between Rosabelle's legs, resting his head on her shoulder, and inhaling her scent deeply. His arms encircled her waist.

"No detentions for the students? That's rather unusual," she remarked.

Severus shook his head. "I'd much prefer to spend my Christmas with my wife."

Rosabelle grinned as she gently ran her fingers through Severus' hair, leaning in to plant a soft kiss on his forehead.

"You smell like biscuits," Severus said to Rosabelle as she finished with the dough. He was holding her close from behind and peppering her neck and cheeks with tender kisses.

Rosabelle, her hair tied up, couldn't help but giggle as his affectionate gestures tickled her.

She was in the midst of baking biscuits for The Golden Trio, who had chosen to spend Christmas at Hogwarts, as well as the staff and the house-elves.

"I'm not done yet, but you can taste the dough if you'd like," Rosabelle offered, reaching for a spoon. However, Severus halted her by turning her around.

Gently, he took hold of her finger, which had a bit of dough on it, and placed it in his mouth. Rosabelle's eyes widened as she felt his tongue delicately graze her finger, licking up the dough.

She was taken aback as Severus let go of her finger, licked his lips, and nodded approvingly. "It's good."

A subtle smirk graced Severus' lips as he observed Rosabelle's stunned silence; Her face flushed like a tomato. He was well aware that he had a huge effect on his wife, and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

"Y-you're distracting me, Sev. Go wait over there." Rosabelle abruptly snapped back to reality and ushered the man out of the small kitchen, her cheeks still flushed.

She couldn't help but recall how every time Severus did something bold and distracting like this, it would lead to her losing focus. There was that one time when she accidentally burned their meal, all thanks to Severus. She was determined not to let it happen again... hopefully.
