The cold November wind swept through the corridors of Hogwarts, sending a chill down Cho Chang's spine as she hurried through the dimly lit hallways. Her eyes were red and puffy from hours of crying, her heart heavy with guilt. The look of betrayal on Harry's face was seared into her mind, and no matter how much she tried to explain it to herself, it wouldn't go away.

Turning a corner, Cho spotted Rosabelle leaning against a stone pillar in a quiet alcove near the library. Hermione had told her where to find Rosabelle, speaking of her as someone with a gentle touch and a knack for making others feel understood. That was all Cho needed to hear. Without a second thought, she ran to the older woman, her emotions finally breaking free.

"Professor!" Cho cried, rushing forward.

Rosabelle turned, startled, just as Cho threw herself into her arms. For a moment, the older witch was taken aback, but she quickly wrapped her arms around Cho, holding her close. Cho's shoulders trembled with silent sobs, her face buried in Rosabelle's cloak. Rosabelle gently rubbed her back, letting the younger girl cry.

"Hey, it's okay," Rosabelle whispered soothingly, her voice warm and gentle. "Take your time. I'm here."

Minutes passed before Cho finally pulled away, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand. She took a shaky breath, her voice barely a whisper. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

Rosabelle guided her to a nearby bench, sitting beside her. "Tell me what happened, Cho," she urged softly. "Whatever it is, it's alright. You can talk to me."

Cho hesitated, her eyes brimming with tears again. But there was something about Rosabelle's calm presence that made her feel safe enough to speak. "I— I told Professor Umbridge about the DA," she confessed, her voice cracking. "But I didn't want to. She... she used Veritaserum on me. I tried so hard to resist, but... I couldn't." Her face crumpled as fresh tears spilled down her cheeks.

Rosabelle's expression softened with understanding. "Oh, Cho..." she said, reaching out to squeeze the girl's hand. "I'm so sorry you went through that. Umbridge is... ruthless... and a fool." She sighed, her brows furrowing in anger at the thought of the cruel woman using such tactics on students.

"I never meant to betray Harry or anyone else," Cho continued, her voice barely above a whisper. "But when she questioned me, I... I didn't have a choice." She looked up at Rosabelle, her eyes pleading. "What do I do now? Harry hates me, and everyone will think I'm a traitor."

Rosabelle looked into Cho's eyes, her gaze steady. "Listen to me, Cho. What happened wasn't your fault. You were forced into it, and anyone who understands that will forgive you in time. Harry... he may be upset now, but he'll come to see the truth once he calms down. He's hurt, but he's not heartless."

Cho sniffled, clutching Rosabelle's hand like it was a lifeline. "But what if he never forgives me?" she whispered, her voice tinged with despair.

Rosabelle gave a small, reassuring smile. "Sometimes people need space to process their feelings. Let Harry and the others have that time. In the meantime, focus on yourself. You can't change the past, but you can move forward from here." She paused, brushing a stray tear from Cho's cheek. "And you're not alone, Cho. You have friends who will stand by you, even when things get tough."
