Rosabelle stood before her students, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "The Yule Ball is a magical tradition that brings us together during the Triwizard Tournament. On Christmas Eve, we gather in the Great Hall with our friends and guests for a night of joy and celebration. As proud Hogwarts students, I want each of you to enjoy the evening and make wonderful memories. Remember, this is a dance, so let's step out with confidence and have fun."

Groans emerged from the Slytherin boys as they listened, while the girls seemed much more excited.

Rosabelle's voice softened yet held a firm edge as she continued, "Slytherin House has earned its reputation and respect over centuries. I expect every one of you to uphold that honor. Let's not tarnish our name. Remember who you are and represent Slytherin with pride and elegance."

"Now, I would like to demonstrate how you should dance," Rosabelle announced, smiling as she glanced around the students. "Any volunteers?"

Instantly, every hand shot up, both boys and girls eager to participate. Rosabelle laughed at their enthusiasm, catching a glimpse of Draco in the corner, glaring at the others as if they had just signed their own death warrants.

Rosabelle hummed thoughtfully before grinning. "I only need one volunteer, but sure, why not?" She took Pansy's hand, and the young girl squealed in excitement.

They twirled around, Pansy giggling like a child, making the others look on enviously. After a moment, Rosabelle let go of Pansy and took Draco's hand, moving with him effortlessly. Draco, having danced with Rosabelle many times as a child, knew her movements well. Anyone watching them could only stare in awe at how perfectly in sync they were.

"Move, Malfoy! It's our turn now!" someone called out impatiently.

Draco raised an eyebrow at the person but tightened his hold on Rosabelle, who was laughing.

Rosabelle let go of Draco and took his hand in one of hers while grabbing another student's hand with her other.

Rosabelle grinned, "I might not have the strength to dance with each of you, and Professor Snape might have a word or two with me about this, and this isn't quite what you'd call a proper Yule Ball dance. But how about we all join together for something a little different?"

She urged the students to form a circle, holding each other's hands as they all danced together. It might have looked silly, but they were all having fun. The room was filled with laughter.

This might not have been the proper Yule Ball dance, but they had fun, and that was what mattered. It was one of those rare moments when the Slytherins could truly let loose and enjoy themselves. With the constant pressure to be the best of the best, such carefree joy was hard to come by. In that moment, they were all just kids, doing silly dances, laughing, and joking with each other.

"Professor, can we do that spin move again?" one of the younger students asked eagerly.

"Of course! Everyone, hold hands and on three, we'll spin!" Rosabelle instructed. "One, two, three!"

The circle of students spun around, laughter echoing off the walls. "Watch your step, Zabini!" Rosabelle teased, as one of the boys stumbled but quickly regained his balance.

Dumbledore strolled alongside Severus, engaged in conversation, when they both stopped, drawn by the sounds of laughter emanating from the typically quiet Slytherin common room.

Dumbledore chuckled, "I wonder what could have brought such joy to the Slytherins?"

Severus felt a smile creep onto his face, his guard lowering as he recognized his wife's laughter amidst the commotion. "That would be my Belle's doing," he replied, a hint of pride in his voice.

Dumbledore smiled, "It seems I made the right choice by inviting her back to Hogwarts as a teacher."

Severus nodded in agreement, "Yes."

But deep down, he couldn't help but think, One out of a hundred times that you actually manage to make the right choice.

The Slytherins, usually burdened with the pressure to excel, were free, if only for a moment, to be themselves.

Shortly after, Rosabelle settled into a chair that a student had thoughtfully pulled over for her. Though her legs ached from the dancing, she brushed aside the discomfort, savoring the joy she felt from spending time with her students. Older students were happily guiding the younger ones through various dance steps, while a few others sat cross-legged on the floor beside her, engaging in lighthearted conversations.

Their chatter often revolved around her unborn child and the delightful things they hoped to share with the baby. "I can't wait to teach your little one how to fly!" one student exclaimed. Another chimed in, "And I'll show them all the best hiding spots in the castle! Don't tell Professor Snape though!"

As they spoke, Rosabelle's hand instinctively caressed her belly, a smile spreading across her face. She felt a swell of happiness knowing how loved her baby would be at Hogwarts, surrounded by such caring people.
