Harry was caught by Fred and George as he attempted to sneak out of Hogwarts. The Invisibility Cloak dropped, and Harry stood revealed, looking rather annoyed. In an instant, Fred slapped a worn roll of parchment into his hand. Harry unfurled it, his expression turning puzzled as he found it blank.
"What's this rubbish?" he hissed.
Fred snorted, "Rubbish, he says. That there's the secret to our success."
George smirked, "It's a wrench giving it to you, believe me."
"But we've decided your need's greater than ours. George, if you will..."
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." George touched his wand to the parchment, and intricate ink lines surfaced in the fiber of the paper, spreading like veins.
Reading the curious words at the top, Harry muttered, "Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs are proud to present The Marauder's Map?"
George smiled, "Ah... Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs. We owe them so much."
Harry's frown deepened, "Hang on. This is Hogwarts! And that... No. Is that really..."
He pointed to a small moving dot labeled "Dumbledore."
"Dumbledore," Fred confirmed.
"In his study," George added.
"Pacing," Fred chimed in.
Harry's eyes widened, "You mean, this map shows..."
"Everyone," Fred nodded.
"Everyone?" Harry's jaw dropped.
"Everyone," George smirked.
"Where they are," Fred continued.
"What they're doing," George added.
"Every minute," Fred elaborated.
"Of every day," George finished.
Harry grinned, "Brilliant! Where'd you get it?"
"Nicked it from Filch's office, of course, first year," Fred smirked.
Harry's eyes immediately searched for a certain name. Rosabelle. There she was. In her chamber. His eyes twitched when he saw the name Severus Snape right beside her name.
Fred peeked behind Harry's shoulder to see what he was looking at.
"It's odd seeing her here now. She's usually not on the map at this hour," Fred commented.
George added, "Disappeared for an hour at least once a week. Seems a bit suspicious, if you ask us."
Harry raised his brow, "And that's precisely why I didn't ask with you."

"You're sure about this, Harry? This is very advanced magic. Well beyond Ordinary Wizarding Level," Remus sought confirmation.
Harry answered confidently, "If Black can fight the Dementors, I need to know how too."
Remus studied Harry, conflicted, then decided. "Very well. The spell I'm going to teach you is called the Patronus Charm. Ever hear of it?"
Harry shook his head.
Remus explained, "A Patronus is a kind of positive force. For the wizard who can conjure one, the Patronus works something like a shield. The Dementor feeds on it instead of him. But for it to work, you must think of a memory. And not just any. This memory needs to be a very happy one. And powerful."
Harry paused to think for a moment before nodding.
Remus asked, "Got something? Good. Let it fill you up. Lose yourself in it. Then speak the incantation: Expecto Patronum. Without your wand..."
"Expecto Patronum..." Harry said, slowly.
Remus nodded, seemingly satisfied, "Right then. Shall we?"
Harry nodded and raised his wand. Remus, watching closely, reached over, and gripped the lid of the trunk.
"Concentrate, Harry. Concentrate..." Remus muttered to Harry.
As Remus flung open the case, Harry opened his eyes. In the sun's blood-light, the Dementor looked particularly horrific.
"Expecto Patronum!" Harry immediately cast the spell.
A blast of light shot out from his wand, and the Dementor vanished within seconds.
Remus was astonished. He hadn't expected Harry to succeed on his first attempt, even with an incomplete spell. Nevertheless, he was thoroughly impressed. It was remarkable for a young student to cast a non-corporeal Patronus on their first try.
"Great job, Harry! Just out of interest, what were you thinking of? What memory did you choose?" Remus tousled his hair.
Harry grinned, though he seemed a bit winded and pale. "When Professor Rosabelle hugged me and... comforted me."
Remus paused, a soft smile gracing his lips. "Good job, Harry. With a bit more practice, I'm sure you'll be able to cast your first-ever corporeal Patronus."
Harry smiled back. Maybe now... he could help protect Rosabelle too, just as she protected him.
