"Miss Granger, what brings you here?" Rosabelle asked with a smile as soon as she saw the girl standing in front of her class, holding a few books.

"Professor, I was hoping to ask you a few questions about our subject," Hermione replied, her voice clear and confident.

Rosabelle nodded with a warm smile, "Yes, of course. Please come in and have a seat."

As Hermione entered, she couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort in Rosabelle's presence. Her class was always engaging and easy to follow, even Ron Weasley paid attention in History of Magic.

Hermione admired Rosabelle not just for her teaching skills, but for her kind and nurturing nature. Rosabelle had a motherly aura that made her feel safe and loved.

"Would you like a cup of tea, Miss Granger?" Rosabelle asked.

Hermione smiled warmly, "Yes, please."

Rosabelle couldn't resist pinching Hermione's cheeks, admiring her cute, cherubic face. "Aw, aren't you the cutest? Harry and Ron are fortunate to have you by their side," she exclaimed.

Hermione blushed slightly, "I'm not, Professor. Everyone seems to hate me."

She looked down and twiddled her thumbs nervously.

The woman frowned, "Why would anyone hate you?"

"I'm just a show-off according to them. Neville is the only one who wanted to be my friend," she said.

With a soft smile, Rosabelle stroked Hermione's bushy hair and said, "Hermione Granger, you should be proud of yourself as you are the brightest witch of your age. Hold your head up high and don't pay attention to them."

Hermione's lips trembled as she tried to hold back her tears. She stood up and quickly hugged the woman, feeling comforted by her embrace. Rosabelle kept stroking the girl's hair and returned the hug as she heard sniffling coming from the girl.

It was clear to Rosabelle that Hermione had endured this for a long time.

After Hermione had calmed down and taken her seat, Rosabelle had prepared a cup of tea for her. Hermione expressed her gratitude and took a sip of the warm drink, feeling the exhaustion gradually melt away.

"Professor Snape hates me too," Hermione said, with a hint of sadness in her voice.

Rosabelle replied reassuringly, "You know he doesn't hate you, Hermione. He just... disliked Gryffindors in general."

Hermione's curiosity was piqued, "What house were you in when you were a student, Professor?"

Rosabelle smirked as she leaned her back on a nearby table and crossed her arms. "Guess."

"Hufflepuff?" Hermione guessed.

Rosabelle shook her head and said, "Nope."

"Gryffindor?" Hermione asked next.

Rosabelle giggled and replied, "Nope."

Hermione was undeterred, "Then you must be a Ravenclaw! I've always thought so."

"You flatter me, Hermione," Rosabelle responded with a chuckle. "But I'm not clever enough to be a Ravenclaw."

Hermione gasped in surprise, "No way! Slytherin?"

Rosabelle grinned and said, "Correct!"

"But- but you don't look like one."

Rosabelle smiled warmly, "My dear, you must remember that not all Slytherins are evil and mean."

"How did Professor Snape fall for you?" Hermione asked curiously.

Rosabelle's eyes twinkled as she thought back to the early days of her relationship with Severus. "To be honest, I'm not quite sure," she said. "I always thought he had feelings for someone else. Imagine how shocked I was when a fifth-year student confessed to me."

"Professor Snape?"

Rosabelle nodded. "Yes, the one and only Severus Snape," she confirmed. "We were friends, but not particularly close since I was younger than him. We used to bump into each other in the library all the time, and eventually, the library became our spot to hang out."

Hermione beamed, "That's so sweet, Professor."

Rosabelle tousled Hermione's hair playfully, "Enough about this. It's almost time for dinner, Hermione. I'll explain what you want to know about our subject in class tomorrow."

Hermione nodded gratefully, "Thank you, Professor. I'm glad I could talk to you today."

Rosabelle smiled warmly, "Remember, you can always count on me if you need anything, Hermione. Have a good evening, and I'll see you tomorrow in class."

With a spring in her step, Hermione waved goodbye and headed out of the room.

As Rosabelle reached for the doorknob, she felt a hand gently take hold of hers, halting her movements. She looked up and was met with the sight of Severus, his dark eyes fixed on hers. Her heart skipped a beat at the sound of his voice, and she felt a familiar warmth spread throughout her body.

"Belle," he called, his voice low.

Rosabelle felt herself go weak in the knees as Severus opened his arms for her. She walked into his embrace, and he held her close, his head resting on top of hers as he planted a tender kiss on her head.

"Why did I just see Granger coming out of your class?" he asked.

Rosabelle smiled, "Oh, we were just having a girls' talk."

Severus pulled back and looked at her quizzically. "You can talk to me instead of her," he said, his voice tinged with jealousy.

"Merlin, it was named a girls' talk for a reason, my love," Rosabelle said, a playful glint in her eye as she reached up to stroke his cheek.
