A cold, high-pitched voice echoed through the air, sending shivers down their spines. "Welcome, Harry Potter," Voldemort hissed, a twisted smile on his serpentine face, with Pettigrew holding him. "And how fortunate—Cedric Diggory, too."

Harry's heart pounded in his chest, his mind racing. This wasn't just another challenge; it was a trap. Before he could react, he was seized by Pettigrew. Cedric, realizing the danger, raised his wand, but he was quickly overpowered by the Death Eaters who had gathered around.

"Hold him," Voldemort commanded, and Pettigrew, with trembling hands, forced Harry to his knees beside a large, bubbling cauldron. The fear in Harry's heart grew as he realized what was happening—the Dark Lord was about to return.

With a flick of his wand, Voldemort instructed Pettigrew to begin the ritual. Harry felt a sharp pain as a knife sliced across his arm, and blood dripped into the cauldron. The liquid hissed and roiled as Pettigrew continued the incantation, his voice filled with malice.

The ritual reached its climax, and with a final, sickening splash, Voldemort emerged from the cauldron, reborn in his full, terrifying form. His red eyes gleamed with triumph as he looked down at Harry, who was still on his knees, trembling from pain and fear.

"Welcome, my friends," Voldemort said, his voice smooth and sinister. "Thirteen years it's been, and yet you stand before me as though it were only yesterday. I confess myself disappointed—not one of you tried to find me."

He slashed his wand through the air, and the Death Eaters flinched, cowering under his wrath.

"Not even you, Lucius," Voldemort sneered, turning his gaze on Lucius Malfoy.

"My lord," Lucius began, his voice trembling. "Had I detected any sign or even a whisper of your whereabouts—"

"There were signs, my friend, and more than whispers," Voldemort interrupted, his voice cold and cutting. "But no matter. The face you have presented these past years was your true mask."

Wormtail, desperate to regain favor, interjected, "I returned, my lord."

"Out of fear, not loyalty," Voldemort replied, his voice filled with contempt. "But you have proven yourself useful, Wormtail. For that, I will grant you a reward."

Voldemort gestured with his wand, and Wormtail's missing hand was replaced with a gleaming silver one. "Thank you, master, thank you," Wormtail whimpered, cradling his new hand.

Voldemort turned his gaze to Cedric, a twisted smile playing on his lips. "Such a handsome boy," he mused, his voice dripping with mockery. Then his gaze shifted, darkening further. "But there are more important matters to address."

The Death Eaters looked around nervously, sensing the change in Voldemort's mood.

A cruel smile twisted on Voldemort's lips. "Severus Snape was once nearly one of my Death Eaters, a promising recruit. But he dared to betray me, fool me... to turn against me for a pathetic woman! He thought he could outwit me, that he could escape my retribution. How wrong he was."

"Now, Potter," Voldemort sneered, his voice cold and cruel. "You will die, just as your parents did. But first..." He turned his gaze toward Cedric, who was watching in horror, helpless to stop what was happening. "I shall take pleasure in eliminating those who mean something to you."
