"Welcome to the second task. Last night something was stolen from each of our champions. A treasure of sorts. These four treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the black lake. In order to win each champion need only find their treasure and return to the surface. Simple enough. Except for this, they will have one hour to do so and one hour only. After that, they'll be on their own." Dumbledore's voice boomed through the loudspeaker.

Harry scanned the crowd nervously but felt a wave of calm wash over him when he spotted Rosabelle waving encouragingly.

"Fancy making a bet, Professor?" Fred asked with a mischievous grin as he approached Rosabelle. Standing next to her, Severus shot the twins a sharp look, making them shift uneasily.

Rosabelle chuckled, stood on tiptoes, and playfully tousled their hair. "Sure, I'm in. You know who I'm betting on."

George nudged Fred. "Bet you it's Cedric."

Fred snickered. "No way, it's got to be Krum."

Rosabelle raised an eyebrow, smiling. "I'll double my bet."

Fred and George exchanged gleeful looks. "Harry Potter, then? Pleasure doing business with you."

Rosabelle shook her head with a smirk. "You sneaky little..."

As the twins dashed off, still laughing, Severus glared after them. "Bunch of dunderheads." He whispered under his breath.

The cannon fired, signaling the start of the task. The champions plunged into the water, though Harry needed a little shove. The Gillyweed took effect as he submerged, turning his hands and feet webbed.

"What's wrong with him?" Seamus asked, bewildered.

Neville, standing next to Rosabelle, looked stricken. "Oh no, I've killed Harry Potter!" he exclaimed, turning to Rosabelle with wide, tearful eyes, which made her suppress a laugh.

"He's fine, Neville. That's just the Gillyweed working its magic," Rosabelle reassured him.

Neville sighed with relief, his cheeks flushing. "Right... of course."

Rosabelle turned her attention back to the lake, her gaze unwavering. "He'll do just fine."

As the minutes ticked by, the spectators watched the water intently. Murmurs of excitement and nervousness rippled through the crowd. Severus stood close to Rosabelle, his usual stern expression softened by the presence of his wife.

Meanwhile, beneath the surface, Harry swam with newfound agility, navigating the dark waters of the Black Lake. He could see the shadows of the other champions in the distance, each moving with determination.

The minutes ticked by, and the surface of the lake remained still. Anxiety grew among the crowd, and even Rosabelle's confident demeanor began to waver.

"The Beauxbatons champion Miss Delacour has unfortunately been forced to retire. She will take no further part in this task." Dumbledore's voice echoed.

Suddenly, Cedric emerged from the water, clutching Cho Chang. The crowd erupted in cheers. Moments later, Viktor Krum surfaced, holding Hermione Granger.
