The man in his forties was breathtakingly beautiful. His sharp jawline and thick hair were highlighted by a perfectly fitted suit, but it was his stunning hazel eyes that stood out the most.

"E-ezra?" whispered Alex.

"Yes son, I'm Ezra," said Ezra smiling, Alex was startled. He turned and looked at Joshua.

"Nice to meet you, sir," said Joshua extending his hands,

"Joshua! you lost your mind?" whispered Alex,

"Alex, let's keep our personal lives separate from business," Joshua said sternly, Alex was speechless,

"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Joshua and Mr. Alex," said Ezra smiling,

"Please, have a seat, we have to start soon," said Ezra,

"Thank you, sir," said Joshua sitting down and pulling Alex with him,

"So this is our deal," said Ezra giving them some files of papers,

"What? Do you want us to give our companies to you? Did you lose your mind?" asked Alex looking astounded,

"You are not fine with it?" asked Ezra, raising his brows,

"Of course not, sir," said Joshua sternly,

"Then, let's keep it simple, you got to choose Saaifa or the company?" asked Ezra smiling,

"What do you mean?" asked Alex,

"She is with me right now," said Ezra smirking,

"And what made you think, we will believe it?" asked Alex getting furious,

"Well," said Ezra extending his phone to show them a video of Saaifa, they both were taken aback, and Joshua's eyes grew irritated, so he retrieved the gun from behind and pointed it at Ezra.

"If you kill me, your girl will die with me," said Ezra relaxing,

"If you lay your hands on her, I won't hesitate to kill you," said Joshua growling,

"Then do as I say," said Ezra coldly,

"Kill, Alex's family and Saaifa's stepfamily," said Ezra smirking,

"Alex, did you know? He killed your dad, and your little princess, it was this guy, who killed your family," said Ezra laughing aloud,

"You manipulated him, Ezra, but this time he won't fall for that," said Alex cooly, Joshua was surprised to see Alex speaking like that, and he was amazed when Alex stood at his side,

"Woah, I'm amazed," said Ezra,

"You think you can find her?" asked Ezra,

"You are in my country, gentlemen, nothing happens here without my declaration," said Ezra smirking,

"I can find my girl," said Joshua getting closer to him,

"Ezra, you touched something you shouldn't have touched. You will regret it, sir," said Joshua leaning at Ezra's level,

"I did what you asked me and successfully escaped from your prison with your treasures five years ago," said Joshua smirking,

"Do you think I'm quite naive? I destroyed your entire penthouse, and your other two secrets and illegal activities have been eliminated. Who is responsible for that? It was me, you think I couldn't kill you? I got a lot of chances, I would have killed you right there at the business party, I still have something to do with you, so I haven't killed you yet," said Joshua smirking,

"Despite tight security, I managed to bring this with me. Wait and watch as your beautiful things are being destroyed by me," Joshua smiled at him as he said, looking at his gun,

"You think you can do that?" asked Ezra looking calm,

"Yes, Of course, look at you. You are trying to act cool, but your eyes show fear," said Joshua laughing and walking back to Alex,

"You had me imprisoned for 5 years. Try guessing my plan, old man." Joshua waved and walked out. Alex followed him silently. Alex was dead silent on the elevator, He followed Joshua like a lost puppy. Finally, he spoke when they got into the car,

"What was that?" asked Alex,

"A business deal?" asked Joshua,

"You are really a mafia?" asked Alex surprised. Joshua shrugged smiling at him,

"What about Saaifa?" asked Alex,

"Oh, shit!" said Joshua turning his phone on, he was amazed to see 32 missed calls and a message from Saaifa, Joshua quickly opened the message,

"she sent a location," said Joshua,

"Drive there, Quickly!" exclaimed Alex. They drove to the cafe. They rushed and searched everywhere, but there was no sign of Saaifa. Joshua walked to a table and found something.

"Carnation?" asked Alex, puzzled.

"A flower?" asked Joshua looking at Alex.

"It's a Carnation," said Alex.

"Flowers? She said something about them," Thought Joshua.

"The meaning!" exclaimed both of them.

"What does this flower mean?" asked Joshua giving the flower to Alex.

"Well, Carnation symbolizes Love, Captivation and Distinction," said Alex.

"But this has nothing to do with us," said Joshua.

"Yeah, you are right, but," said Alex thinking about something.

"But?" asked Joshua.

"Carnations are often given to mourners at funerals," said Alex looking at the flower.

"Funerals?" asked Joshua raising his brows.

"Ye-" Before Alex could complete his sentence, The kitchen exploded, causing the cafe to collapse, leaving both of them severely injured.

"Arghh," groaned Joshua holding his head, the ambulance was called and both of them were taken to the hospital.
