"Why do you like me?" Jin said

Jin question caught him off guard, making Jungkook choke on his own saliva.

"Wh-why? Do you always need a reason for liking someone?" Jungkook said

"I don't even remember you. How come you know me?" Jin said

"We were never in the same class. And besides, you were too busy following Ken around that you didn't even have time to look at others." Jungkook said

"But, you said I bumped into you in 7th grade." Jin said

"You were running after a teacher that time to submit an output." Jungkook said

"You still remember it?" Jin said

"Of course. How can't I? I broke my phone's camera that time and my mom wouldn't buy me a new one. That's why your pictures are blurry. Luckily I was able to convince my dad to buy me a new one a month after." Jungkook said

"So you mean to say, that picture you showed at the games... it's.. it's me?" Jin said

"Of course. Who else would it be? I'm sorry for stealing a photo of you but I just couldn't help but snap one when I saw you playing in the rain once." Jungkook said

Jin didn't say a thing and just started playing with his food, poking the meat with his fork with his head down.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I ever offended you with that." Jungkook said

"Why should I believe you? For all we know you could have a lot of girls running after you. .

..Aissh. Stop pretending you like me." Jin said

"Wait I'm n" Jungkook said

"I know I sort of told you I get jealous, okay. But it doesn't mean that you to have to console me by telling me that you like me. I, I, I was just confused. I told you it didn't mean anything. I, I, aish!!! Just stop doing whatever you are doing or whatever you are planning to do." Jin said

"Who said I'm consoling you? Everything that I said is true, Jin. What do you want me to do for you to believe me?" Jungkook asked

"N-nothing. Just stop making my heart flutter every single time. Stop confusing me and stop doing things that might make me fall for you. I, I can't afford to like you, Jungkook." Jin said

"And why is that, huh?" Jungkook said

"I, I don't wanna end up getting hurt." Jin said

The falter in his voice concerned Jungkook.

"..What is he so afraid of?? Jungkook said

"I've already spent so many years looking at someone who didn't even spare me a glance. I, I don't wanna go through the same thing again, Jungkook. It hurts. It fucking hurts." Jin said

"You what?!" Jungkook said

Jungkook winced as Woshin threw a pillow straight to his face.

They're were currently in his unit.

"I sort of confessed." Jungkook said

"Yeah, you already told me that. But seriously, you didn't even make it something romantic or memorable? You just blurted it out and you even called him dumbass?! Woshin said

Jungkook groaned inwardly as he buried his face in the pillow he threw at him.

Jungkook could still remember his expression when he tried to approach him at work. Jin was avoiding him the entire day!
