"Appa. Okay, okay. I'll bring him there once everything is settled. I still haven't asked him about it yet. I don't wanna pressure him. He's been through a lot." Jungkook said

I'm just reminding you, son. I wanna see you cry on your wedding day already. And besides, I thought you are at your peak. Why is it taking so long for you to make him say yes? His father said

"Just, just, stop teasing me. I'm gonna ask him again today." Jungkook said

"I wish you luck then. His father said

"Thanks, dad. I love you. Please tell mom I love her." Jungkook said

"Okay, son. I love you, too. Take care there and bring my son-in-law as soon as possible. "Jungkook's father said

Jungkook let out a giggle as soon as father ended the call and slid thru the room to grab his things.

"Babe? Let's go?" Jungkook knocked on Jin's door but didn't get any respond. "Jin?"

"Jin?" Jungkook decided to just punch in the code of his unit but saw no one inside.

"Jin ..... Babe ?" Jungkook called out for the tens time but silence embraced him.

It was then that Jungkook noticed his luggage and a familiar notebook on the sofa.

Jungkook inched forward and nervously grabbed the notebook. His heart pounded even faster as he held the very thing that he considered as his confidant for the past half years.

Jungkook didn't have the slightest idea how he got it but he knew for sure, he already read its contents based on how crumpled the pages were and the smudges on the ink.

Jungkook immediately grabbed his phone to call him but received no answer.

"Jungkook, I don't know what happened but Jin called me asking for help. We're on our way to my apartment. Taehyung said

Jin gripped the diary tighter as he read Taehyung's message.

Jin eyes were hazy from all the tears as he ran towards Taehyung's car and slid inside. His phone was still ringing from Jungkook's call but he didn't have the courage to talk to him, not after knowing what really happened in those half years that he was gone.

"Hey, wha-" Taehyung said

"Just drive, Taehyung. Please," Jin pleaded as he turned his phone off and started sobbing again.

Taehyung brought him into his apartment where he said nothing and just waited for him to calm down. Jin was curled on his sofa, embracing himself like it would give him some kind of comfort.

It was already dark when Jin woke up to the smell of food. Jin slowly got up as his head was heavy from all the crying and noticed the blanket that Taehyung might have put on him.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Taehyung asked as he placed a glass of water in front of him.

"F-fine." Jin said

"I won't ask what happened but Jungkook came here earlier and almost broke my door." Taehyung said

"I-is he alright?" Jin said

"Yeah. Luckily he calmed down when he saw you sleeping. Care to tell me what happened?" Taehyung said

Jin swallowed the lump on his throat as he held his hands tighter.

"I, I don't know what to do. I can't face him right now Taehyung after knowing what really happened. I feel guilty." Jin said and the tears started running down his face again as he remembered some of the entries he wrote on his diary.

Dear diary,

I'm really not into this thing but,
but I don't have anyone to talk to. I can't
even call Jin and tell him everything
I don't wanna bring him into this mess. Appa's health is falling out after his heart attack and the company's not doing good either. The person my father trusted the most just betrayed him and now the company's at stake. I can't see him like this. It's breaking me.

I really wanna call him, but I don't want him to worry. Do you think he's okay? I really don't know what to do anymore. Cherry not helping either. She's been insisting about us being in a relationship and I don't want to stress my eomma over this matter. She's been through a lot because of my appa's health. I wish...I could get out of this mess.

My Appa health is getting worse. And my eomma health is worrying me as well. I really don't know what to do. We're about to lose the company and I feel useless for not being able to do anything. I...feel useless as a son. I can't do anything.

Hi... It's been a while. A lot of things have happened and I still haven't called him...but I want to. I really want to. But...I can't. I don't know how to explain things to him...not when Cherry claiming that I'm the father of the child she's bearing. I, I... I'm not sure about it though. I... don't know what happened but I just...I just woke up naked beside her. But I swear, I can't remember anything. All I remember was drinking with her because I didn't have anyone to tell my pent-up frustrations to. I admit, I kinda feel guilty. Ugh! Shit. I hate myself. I just hate myself.

Sorry for totally forgetting about you. Well, guess where I've been. Who would have thought that I'd survive the car crash. Fine, I won't drink and drive again. My Jin definitely gonna kill me if he ever finds out about this. And besides, staying in the hospital for months bored the hell out of me... Do you think he's fine? I...I stopped asking WoShin about him. It just makes me miss him more.

Hi again! Yeah, I know diaries are supposed to be on a daily basis but I've been too busy these days. My Appa health is getting better and the company's doing great as well. JongSuk just saved all of us and I owe him a lot... And... You know what I saw him again. WoShin sent me a picture of him... I just wanna hug him and tell him how much I miss him... Do you think he'll take me back after everything?

This is gonna be my last entry. Yeah, I know you're gonna miss me but I have to go back and see him again. I have a lot of explaining to do. I just miss him so much that it's killing me. Anyway, wish me luck. I have to take my man back.

Jin heaved a deep sigh as Taehyung placed some food in front of him but Jin didn't have the appetite not the strength to lift the spoon.

"Jin, you need to eat. You've been crying the whole day." Taehyung said

Jin gave Taehyung a faint smile and forced himself to eat a small portion of what he just gave him.

"I'm just gonna get something from the front desk, okay. I'll be back." Taehyung said

Jin just slightly nodded at him and went back to eating. Well, Jin really wasn't eating. He was just mindlessly picking on the food with the spoon while staring blankly at it.

Jin felt guilty.

Guilty for all the hurtful words that he told Jungkook without even knowing the pain he went through. And Jin felt guilty for not hearing his explanation and for keeping his heart and ears shut for what he had to say.

Jin placed the spoon back and was about to head back to sleeping when the presence he saw the moment Jin turned around startled him.

"Jin?"
