Jin let out a frustrated sigh before opening the envelope so he would shut his mouth.
But instead of a cheque that Jimin was expecting, inside was an invitation card.

"Wedding anniversary party? You're invited to Jungkook's parent's anniversary party?" Jimin said

Jin furrowed his brows as he reread the writings on the card.

Why would they invite me to such event?? Jin said

"See! You're definitely hiding something from me! I'm gonna curse you to death!" Jimin said

"You know what. I hate talking to you sometimes," Jin said rolled my eyes and he's headed to Jungkook desk so he could ask him about the invitation.

"So you hate me now? Because you have Jungkook with you?" Jimin said

Jin just ignored Jimin who was running his mouth as he tailed me.

"Jungkook ah, what's this for?" Jin asked

"An invitation?" Jungkook said

"Yes, I know. I can read, obviously. What I mean is, why are you giving me this?" Jin said

"My mom likes you and she wants to see you again." Jungkook said

"Okay, I appreciate her fondness towards me but it's specifically included in here that the event is intimate. Why would she invite an outsider like me??" Jin said

"Oh, come on. Don't you get it, Jin??" Jimin said

Jin glared at Jimin who was leaning on Jungkook table desk.

"Why are you eavesdropping on our conversation??" Jin hissed at Jimin who didn't even budge.

"Just be there, Jin. And besides it's still at the end of the month. My mom would really be happy if you attend." Jungkook said

Jin was about to protest, hoping that he'd convince Jungkook mother not to have him attend the said event but he got a call.

"Excuse me. I gotta take this." Jungkook said

Jin watched his Jungkook back as he headed out of the office.

"What's so important about it that he really have to go outside? Jin said

"You're definitely in for the time of your life, Jin." Jimin said

"Oh, shut up, will you?" Jin said

Jin let out a sound of relief as he stretched his arms after a long day.

"Are you leaving already?" Jimin nudged Jin' arm as he adjusted the straps of his bag.

"Yeah, why?" Jin said

"We're having a company dinner to celebrate the reaching of our quote for this quarter." Jimin asked

"Oh, really? I didn't know it's today. It's supposed to be this Friday, right?" Jin said

"The boss sent a message to the company group chat that he has a conference starting tomorrow until the end of the week so he's only available today. Didn't you read it?" Jimin said

"I was busy all day. I didn't have the time to check on my messages. But I don't feel like coming, Jiminie. I'm too tired. I just wanna climb on my bed and sleep." Jin said

"Oh come on! We can't just celebrate without you. You're the top employee of the month!" Jimin said

"What's up?" Jungkook said

Jin let out a tired sigh as Jungkook approached them.

"Oh, hi Jeon ! We're actually heading out for the company dinner but this one right here doesn't want to go with us." Jimin said

Jin shot Jimin a glare as he hit his arm.

"I'm too tired, Jimin, okay?" Jin said

"Okay, I'm not going as well then." Jungkook said

They're both gaped at Jungkook who just smiled at them.

"Why?" Jin furrowed my brows at Jungkook.

"I'll send you home. And besides I'm sure you're too tired to cook something for yourself so I know you're gonna need me." Jungkook said

"Excuse me but may I remind you that you don't know how to cook. You even almost burned my unit when you cooked breakfast that morning. Why would I even need you??" Jin said

"I'm not yet done, okay. You're gonna need me to order food for you. I'm pretty sure you're too tired to even make a call. And seeing you right now, I'm kinda worried you'll sleep behind the wheel." Jungkook said

"Excuse me. I can take care of myself." Jin said

"Oh, come on. You don't have to be shy, babe. I promise I'll behave from now on. I won't even come near your kitchen and I swear to keep your unit clean." Jungkook said

"Well, thanks for reminding me that I have to reprimand you for tha-" Jin said

"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Jimin

Jin and Jungkook both jolted as Jimin pushed they aside and stood between them. And Jin totally forgot about Jimin.

"Am I missing something here?" Jimin said

"N-no! Come on. We're gonna be late for the company dinner!" Jin tried diverting Jimin's attention but he just snapped his fingers in front of me.

"Hep, hep! No! No one's coming out of this room unless you tell me what's going on. Why do you sound like you just got married?" Jimin said

"Excuse me? What the hell are you talking about?" Jin said
