"Jungkook, can we talk?"

Jungkook languidly looked at Cherry who was fiddling with her fingers. Her voice was low as she tried not to look Jungkook in the eye. After all, it was their first time talking again right after the incident with Jin.

"My Jin waiting for me, Cherry." Jungkook said. Jungkook cold tone . response made her look straight at him

"This will be quick, Jungkook, I promise." Cherry said

Jungkook heaved a deep sigh as glanced at Jin who was talking to his relatives. It was a good thing he easily fit in with them, just like a puzzle piece and Jungkook couldn't be happier that his own relatives seem to be fond of him. That's a fact Jin is adorable for Jungkook.

"Fine. But don't expect me to stay longer than five minutes." Jungkook said

She led Jungkook to the back part of the garden, a little bit far from the visitors and a bit dim, a total opposite of the bright lights illuminating the center part of the garden.

"Jungkook, I know I did something wrong before but please can you not treat me like this." Cherry said

"Cherry, you already know way back before that I don't have any feelings for you. I only see you as a friend, a sister." Jungkook said

"I know. But do you have to go this far just to prove that you don't like me? I mean, why him?" Cherry said

"Why not?" Jungkook said

"Jungkook! He's a gay !!?! You're not supposed to like him!" Cherry said

Her response might have struck a nerve as Jungkook couldn't help but raise his voice at her despite him internal agreement with himself to remain as placid as possible.

"Then who am I supposed to like then? You? Cherry, I've been clear since high school about my gender  identity. As a matter of fact, you are the first one to know." Jungkook said

"But I thought you were just confused. I thought you were just experimenting. I saw you flirt with girls back in the states, Jungkook. I saw it with my own two eyes. I thought you were already fine. You can still change, Jungkook. You can still go back to normal!" Cherry said

"So you think I'm not normal? You think I'm sick?! You think I'm sick because I like Jin?" Jungkook said

"No, I, I, that's not what I mean, Jungkook. What I mea-" Cherry said

"No. You don't have to explain. You just said it yourself. And just what a friend you are, Cherry." Jungkook said

Jungkook immediately turned getting up and left her all confused on what to say next. Cherry tried calling out his name but Jungkook didn't look back, not after what she just said. Cherry already ruined him once and Jungkook forgive her for that but it's an entirely different thing when Jin is involved.

Jungkook took several deep breaths and tried to straighten the creases on his forehead before approaching Jin who was still happily chit chatting with his relatives and for some reason, Jungkook felt fine.

"Jungkook ah, are you okay?" Jin said

Jungkook gave Jin a timid smile as he held Jin cheek and gave it a gentle squeeze. Jungkook action earned some giggles from his relatives and that was when he remembered they were not alone.

"You're really out there flaunting your boyfriend, huh?" His cousin,  Channie scoffed as he tapped his back.

"Just get yourself your own then." Jungkook said

"I'm not built for shitty relationships. I'd rather be a bee in the garden." Channie said

"It's because you don't settle with one." Jungkook said
