IT'S HUBBY'S BIRTHDAY!!!!! DOUBLE UPDATE!!!

CHAPTER 56

Cub Creek Territory...

Jonathan growled in frustration as he, Calvin, and Landon tried to find the reason for the creek being dry. Without the steady flowing stream meant that the pack's livestock didn't have a fresh water source and the fields weren't getting water because the pumps weren't drawing water from the creek. While they had wells, the creek saved the pack a lot money and time. They finally found the source of their troubles. Three large trees were down but the roots still held up.

"Should we get the chainsaws?" Calvin asked.

"No. GinGin is an All-Round Sprite and JJ is a nature Nymph. They've been on a 'save the trees' kick that Tracy agreed to so now we have to call them and get them to come out to move the trees."

Lee and Calvin sighed. JJ had the attention span of a flea and GinGin was always late for everything. Plus, they would have to link someone to stop what they were doing and go get the pair because they would end up waiting out here for a month.

"I'll tell you what. I'll go get them and you guys can head back help with everything."

"You sure?" Landon asked. "Because I can go get them."

"No. I'm here in my brothers' stead so I need to make sure that it's clear." Jonathan said with a sigh.

"At least our mate can't get into any trouble while we're out." Eli said in his mind. Jonathan suddenly got nervous but then he heard Tracy link him not to bother her for a while because she'll be busy. Jonathan made her promise not to leave the pack house.

"Yeah, somehow I don't feel better about that." Eli snarked. Jonathan took a deep breath, and focused on the task at hand. The sooner he got JJ and GinGin out here, the sooner he could go check on his mate.

Tracy held the necklace as she followed the item back. It was much harder since she had to go back so much further. Roger looked on worriedly as he caught his granddaughter before she hit the floor.

"Somethings wrong!" he cried as he lifted her into his arms and carried her to the couch.

Skylar shook her head while still holding Tracy's hand. "No, she's simply going into a trance. Her powers are much strong than yours and I'm lending her my aide while she searches."

"How are you not going under as well?"

"My visions are limited to the future. Though oddly enough, everything I or my mother does is something rooted in the past."

"Is she going to be alright?"

"Definitely but she'll be tired afterwards and will have to eat something sugary." She said holding up a Mars bar which ironically had more sugar content than actual sugar. "I'm not certain if she'll need you or not. I just figured that it would be helpful if you were on hand. If she starts convulsing just grab her other hand. Do not yell or try to wake her up because you'll send her into a coma."

"What?!" Roger whispered yelled.

"And that is why I made sure her mate was otherwise occupied."

Tracy's vision... Drifting through time and space...

Tracy had watched a woman carefully construct the necklace as her son moaned in pain. She could feel the mother's anxiety. Her vision zoomed out of focus and then Tracy found herself in a cavern, the woman who had made the necklace was speaking to a stranger hidden in the shadows despite the small fire that lay between them. The woman was desperately explained her plight.
