CHAPTER 63 (MATURE CONTENT)
Rogue Lands...
Galen stood in the shadows. Watching his Heartbeat fold a tiny dress with butterfly appliqués that she had just pulled off of her sewing machine. He was so nervous. His appearance, for the most part, was the same as it had been most of his life, but so much different than when she had known him and he had been gone for so long. What if she no longer wanted him? What if she found him repulsive? What if she's met someone else? What if she wished that he had stayed dead?
"You know that standing outside someone's room and staring through the window makes you look like a creeper." A voice said from behind him.
Galen turned quickly. Skylar looked up at him with a bored expression. Roger was walking up behind her.
"You know silently stalking up behind someone and standing there watching them makes you look like a little creeper." Galen said.
"Touche. But why are you standing out here? I would have thought that you would have run inside and yelling the roof down in excitement." Skylar said with a curious tilt of her head.
Galen turned back and looked at the pretty redhead who was sitting at the machine again, oblivious to their observations.
"I'm scared." He whispered.
Ruby suddenly stopped and looked up. Her mouth opened in shock and like that she was gone.
Galen was frozen until he heard Skylar say, "Running in her condition is probably bad soo..."
Like a shot, Galen took off.
"We should probably let them have some time to themselves." Skylar told Roger. "Let's go meet someone interesting."
--------------------
Galen caught Ruby in his arms. She was crying so hard that she couldn't even speak and was gasping for air in between sobs. Dameon came down to see what the ruckus was.
"Good to see you back." He said with a light slap on Galen's shoulder. "It's been hell without you. Haven't get laid in my room in so long."
Dameon looked Ruby who still had her face buried in Galen's shoulder. "Everything will be moved into the guest room at the end of the hall. I've had it dusted and tided once a week for you to move into whenever he came back."
"Wait! You knew he was still alive?!"
"I plead the fifth and a hasty retreat." Dameon said as he ran off.
Ruby took Galen's hand and lead him to the room that Dameon had mentioned.
"I-"
"No. No talking." Ruby said as she placed a hand over his mouth. "Sit."
Galen sat on the bed and she stood in between his legs gently running her fingers over his face. Tears constantly fell from her eyes and Galen gently wiped them away as his own tears dripped down unchecked.
They said nothing as Ruby gave herself time to accept that her mate and the love of her life was actually sitting here in the flesh. Her wolf was just as stunned and whimpering with a variety of emotions.
Leaning forward, their lips met and moved in perfect sync. She pulled off his shirt and the green dress she wore. Galen pressed butterfly kisses to her extended abdomen and breathed in her baby powdered scent.
"I-"
"Shh." Ruby silenced him and pushed him back.
Understanding her unspoken need, he laid back and stripped off his remaining garments as his beautiful Heartbeat hovered over him and grasped his shaft with her small hands. She stroked him as her grew hard under her touch. Running her wet tongue over his length, his breath hitched as she took the head in her mouth and slow worked her hands over what she could fit in her mouth.
