CHAPTER 32
Sahra' Aljini (Desert of the Jinn)...
The morning's sunlight streamed through the windows of the palace. Tu stirred in the plush bed he laid in, yawning widely he smiled as the woman in his arms snuggled against his chest. After losing so much, he never thought that he would ever find happiness again in such a short time.
Flashback...
Tu walked out of the library and then remembered that he forgot to tie down the cart in the market. Turning, he quickly walked back to the town center. Despite it still being early, most of the men were already well on their way to being drunk. He never understood how anyone found solace in being out of control.
Some of the women and even a few men catcalled him but none approached. Tu simply ignored the obnoxious drunken revelry. His mind was on a certain witch that called to him in his dreams. His heart already belonged to her and only her, there would never be another.
A strange feeling brought him from his reverie. He saw a familiar bag on the ground still filled with apples. Quickly scanning the area, Tu froze when he saw a man dragging a struggling woman into the alleyway. He recognized the bracelets on the slender wrist. Fear clogged his throat and unease settled in the pit of his stomach.
The Sprite quietly followed in the shadows. The male was a werewolf. Tu made sure to stand downwind so his scent wouldn't give him away. Changing form so that he only stood about 3 inches tall, his wings magically appeared and he flew up to watch. Pulling out a pair of Shuang Bi Shou daggers, he waited until the pair went into an abandon shop.
------------------
Ebanee was terrified. The wolf held her hands and cover her mouth so she couldn't use a spell to break free. She was not very skilled since the Council discouraged the practice of witchcraft. Training was forbidden so her aunt and mother could only teach a few things. No matter how many times she chanted a spell in her head, her attacker did not burst into flames or freeze. She actually had to speak the words.
The man tied her up with an old but strong rope and gagged her. He pulled out a cellphone and made a call. Ebanee tried to work on her bonds but the more she struggled the tighter the ropes became. The man merely smirked at her as if he knew her discomfort as the phone rang.
"Hello Mr. Somers. Or should I call you Alec?" the man said casually.
Ebanee froze when she heard her father's name. The stranger smirked as if she had provided him with an answer to an unspoken question.
"This is Yorick Standish." the stranger introduced himself.
The name was unfamiliar to Ebanee, she knew nothing about her father's work.
"I was wondering around looking for some amusements. I found a nice young girl with a smooth tight body ready for plucking. She's just the entertainment I was looking for. Her tits are a just big enough to fill my hands and her nice round ass that is going to feel good once I can work my cock in." Standish said. Ebanee felt cold and wanted to run away. She prayed to the Creator that she be allowed to die before this man touched her. Her mind went to her Soulmate and tears trickled down her face.
"But you want to know what I find most interesting?" Standish asked her father. "She smells sooo familiar."
Something in the way the man said it, filled Ebanee with trepidation.
"Did you know, Alec, that werewolves can scent their pups? Those with Alpha bloods, have stronger noses, can tell whose pups belong to who. We can tell the paternity of most creatures."
