Welcome back

I missed him so endlessly.
I knew being apart would be hard but this was harder.

As I got he keys to my apartment I drove there.
I loved it.
There even was a super cool place where I could park my motorcycle.
It wasn't much and needed really some renovation but it was mine.

In the remaining days I painted the walls, sanded down some doors and repainted them and deep cleaned the whole place.

There were a lot of new furniture that was waiting to be built.
Even if I was very competitive and was always willing to do it by myself I failed at the first closet.
Not to mention the kitchen.
I had to give up my room on the base so I just slept in Simon's room because my bed wasn't built up either.

I could have persuaded some of the other soldiers but it didn't felt right.
And I was about to get my first rookies.
I didn't wanted people talking about me needing help with everything.
I had a long day behind me with a lot of paper work and some new soldiers that joined another team.
And since I hadn't really other things to do I volunteered to show them around.

I had a lot of my stuff just parked at Simon's room.
He would hate me for it.
But I hadn't had the time to get everything into the flat.
I just came out of the shower and slipped into some pyjamas pants and a top.

I was blowdrying my hair as I heard something rattle in Simon's room.
I instantly turned of the blowdryer and tried to hear something.
Nothing.
But I definitely heard something.
I slowly opened the door and poked my head out.

My jaw dropped as I saw Simon.
Standing in the middle of some boxes looking around.
As I opened the door completely he turned around.

„What the hell is all this?"

He chuckled slightly.

I didn't answer.
I ran up to him and jumped into his arms.

„Babyyyy. Oh my god I missed you so much."

He catched me and lifted me slightly up.

„My angel. I missed you too. So much"

„But I thought. You said a month"

I giggled as he kissed me over and over again.

„We finished early. Gladly"

He set me down.

„So care to explain this?"

He nodded towards the boxes.
And then he saw my pink blanket and my plushie on his bed.
He shook his head.

„Wellllllllll. I had to give up my room for the flat.
But I can't build up the furniture myself.
So I had to find another solution till you could help me"

I gave him the biggest blue puppy eyes.

„I'm sorryyyyyy"

He sighed and sat down on his bed.

„It's alright. I guess we have to work on your furniture then. Because this can't stay like that"

I gave him a big smile.

„Well when you're all back then there's plenty of hands to help"

„You want the chaos group to help you? Sure they don't just break anything?"

he joked pulling me towards him.

„If they break something they will have to buy a new one. So they have to be careful"

I giggled as he nuzzled his head between my boobs.
I ran my nails through his hair.
He let out a big sigh.

„I missed you so much"
