Alright Liz, first day.
Get yourself together!

My head was spinning.
I was so happy to see Price again.
I hadn't seen him in years.
But a new team.
And then the 141.
Price had told me a lot about them.
Even send me a file about each member.

But still I was so nervous.
No matter how often i got into a new team it always made me nervous.
Meeting new people wasnt something that was my best skill.
But they all seemed nice from Prices descriptions. Except Ghost.
But there was always one person who was like him. The loner.

As I came on the little path to the base my heart was racing.
As I saw Price my heart skipped.
I realised how I missed this old man.

I parked my bike.
I was on time.
Of course, I always were.
I turned around and quickly scanned the men waiting for me in front of the base.

Price looked even older as I remembered him.
He had that cute smile, he seemed really happy to see me.

Next to him was a very tall man.
He must be at least 6'4.
His arms crossed over his braught chest, his dark brown eyes fixed on me.
His face was covered with a balaclava and a skull mask.
This must be Simon Riley aka Ghost.

Slightly behind him were a shorter guy, a hyrokese and a smirk on his lips.
He was one of them that didn't wear a mask.
This had to be John MacTavish aka Soap.

Next to him was a guy with a black balaclava.
His arm leaned on Soaps shoulder.
This had to be Gary Sanderson aka Roach.

Lastly was a really tall guy in the back.
He had to be at least 6'10.
A giant of a man.
His face covered with a scrim net.
Even though he was huge his posture was passive.
He was clearly nervous.
This had to be König.

Price told me he had severe social anxiety and that he needed time to adjust to new people.
This wasn't a problem at all.
I knew exactly how he felt.

I walked up to Ghost.
I knew he was my new lieutenant.
Even though Price was the chief.

After the greetings Ghost left.
I looked after him.
He seemed as cold as Price had described him.
But I couldn't help but notice the way he looked at me. He sure wasn't very keen of the idea of a woman in his team.
But that was no problem.
I knew I was good and he would have to respect that.

I turned to the others.
Not really knowing that to say.
Price pulled me back into a much longer hug.

„Missed me so bad J.P.?"

I laughed slightly.

„Always. You got so big little one"

he smiled bright.

„And you got even older!"

Soap smirked wide

„J.P.? Why can't we call you that Price?"

„Because you're idiots"

Price snarled back.

I laughed and turned to the others.

„Nice to meet all of you. I heard a lot"

„Don't listen to any word this man said about us!"

Roach laughed slightly.
I felt Königs ice blue eyes on me.
But as I looked over he seemed as he had never even looked at me.

„So another one with a mask? Making a mistery about you're face as well?"

Soap asked genuinely curious.
I had to laugh

„A bit. I feel more comfortable with it.
But it's not like no one ever saw my face.
J.P. Knows me very well without mask.
But it gives me some sort of safety. I hope you understand"

„Sure thing. Nothing new to us. Our big guy here almost cried one time I almost saw his face"

he pointed at König who flinched a bit.
I laughed slightly.

"Oh by the way. Nett dich kennenzulernen."

i looked directly at König.
His eyes widened a bit.

„Du sprichst deutsch?"

he replied clearly suprised.

„Geboren und aufgewachsen in Deutschland. Also meine Muttersprache"

I smiled and winked at him.
He instantly seemed to relax a bit.
The other two just looked at me in clear disbelief.

„Don't look like that.
I said I was born and raised in Germany.
So yes i can speak German.
To become a Specialist in undercover missions i had to know at least three languages.
But I'm not gonna tell you what the others are."

I giggled and patted Prices shoulder.

„So you guys gonna show me around or what?"

They all nodded and everyone seemed genuinely relieved.
I had a feeling this was going to be a good team.
