The story is told in the perspective of Liz and Simon.

He felt like a teenager that found his sex drive. But when he felt like he would ask to much of her she even topped him.
It was incredible. It was like they catched up on everything that they were holding back the last month. For him she was everything. Without even talking she knew what he needed and wanted. He warmed up to it pretty quick after learning that she quite enjoyed a little pain.
Her face when he choked her was everything to him. This pretty little noises and begs were like music to him. Even thinking of it made him brick up. Her little satisfied smile when he filled her up. Knowing she couldn't get pregnant made everything much easier.
But what he even loved more than the actual sex was the time after. The intimacy. Her in his arms. All vulnerable.
He had to face the fact that soon they would have to go back to normal. And act like grown ups. But as long as he knew she would be there he had no worries. On the day of departure she was up early. The bags were already packed in the living room. After he got dressed he came in the kitchens seeing her sitting on the counter scrolling through her phone.
She looked so adorable. Her hair tied up in a messy bun, thick sweatpants and a matching sweater. She looked up as he came in and gave him the biggest smile.
„Morning sleepy head."
„Morning princess"
he said giving her a kiss.
„Always ready huh?"
„I'm gonna see my boys again"
she exclaimed.
„Oh yeah these idiots"
he mumbled.
„Can't tell me you didn't missed them you grumpy"
she teased him.
„Maybe a bit. But don't tell them"
„Never. They wouldn't believe me anyway"
The flight seemed to take forever. But he didnt mind. Watching her cuddle up on the seat and constantly holding his hand was everything for him.
As they arrived at the base it was late. He parked his car. He saw Price and Soap stand in front of the base smoking.
In a heartbeat Liz was out of the car and ran up to them. He watched her jump on Soap. He luckily catched her and spun her around. Price gave her a big tight bear hug and came over to him.
„Nice to have you two back. I assume it went well"
he said helping Simon get the bags out.
„Absolutely."
he answered short.
„She told you?"
„Yes she did. I signed it. It's a good plan"
„I'm happy that you see it this way"
Price said patting his shoulder.
„All I want is her to be safe"
Simon said quiet. Watching her as Roach came out and also lifted her up in a hug.
They carried all their bags inside. Where they also met König. He greeted Simon with a warm hug. What was something Simon only accepted from König.
„Heard you had a good time"
he said winking at him.
„Oh bloody hell you gossip girls"
Simon grunted.
„I'm her best friend what did you expect"
Simon just grunted.
The week after Liz started to join them in training again. She wasn't even a little out of shape. He was deeply impressed. She trained hard and long. He sometimes had to drag her out of the training rooms.
She soon started her new duties. And he loved seeing how she happy she was. This was really what she wanted. Sometimes he had to intervene. She was too much into some things.
She wasn't allowed to take recruits just jet. But she made every workshop and training with such dedication.
Soon it was the time. The team was called for a mission. Planned was a month.
His heart was aching knowing she wouldn't come with them. It wasn't necessary. And some part of him was happy that she would be safe. But being apart from her made him nervous. The day they left was hard. She did her best to support him. But he could see that she was sad too.
She texted him daily updates about everything. Even when she knew he could barely respond. But he loved reading about her day and her achievements on the end of a draining day.

He felt so sad. He wasn't there to do this with her. He felt like a terrible boyfriend. Even though she always said it was ok. He stared into the starry sky.
„How is the little princess"
Prices voice came from behind him. He sat down next to him.
„She's great. She finally got the flat."
„That's great. You two could need the privacy"
he chuckled.
„Yeah"
Simon sighed.
„What's wrong Simon?"
„I'm not there for her. That's a huge step for her."
„Don't do that to you Simon. She loves you and she knew what that means. As long as you come back home safe she will be happy"
Simon nodded slightly. He felt a little better. But his head couldn't stop.
The mission went well gladly and they could go home early. He hadn't said a word to Liz. He wanted to suprise her with that. He couldn't wait so see her. Her smile. Her laugh. Everything.
