Simon couldn't get the image of Liz kissing Graves out of his head.
He knew she had to.
He knew it was a show.
But it hurted.

She had two hours then he would destroy this factory.

They evacuated the civilians back to the town.
As soon as they knew the others would take care of them they all got back in the truck and left.
His heart was pounding.

She got this.
She was good.
The best.
He repeated this over and over in his head.
No one said a single thing.

As they were driving he saw dark clouds on the horizon.

„What the-„

Alejandro muttered.

„What the fuck is that?"

Soap said sticking his head out of the car.
Simon grabbed into the steering wheel as he saw something.

„The fuck amigo"

Alejandro yelled trying to control the car.

„Stopp! Stopp the car!"

he yelled.
In this moment Price and Roach had seen the same thing as him.

„Oh my-„

„Is that?"

„I SAID STOP"

Alejandro hit the brakes and the car stopped.
Simon jumped out and ran towards the shadow on the horizon.

His eyes hadn't let him down.
It was Liz.
Walking in the middle of nowhere.
Dragging something behind her.

As he came closer she waved him.
His eyes widened as he could see her clearly.

She was drenched in blood.
Swirling something around her knife and dragging a bag behind her.

„Liz!"

he yelled.
His heart was aching.
Was she hurt?

No she wasn't.
She.
She smiled?

As soon as he was close enough she let go of the bag and ran towards him.
She jumped into his arms and clenched onto him.

„Love. Are you. Are you ok?"

„I love you Simon.
I love you.
Do you hear me?
I love you.
Only you"

She was panting.
As soon as he wrapped his arms around her her body relaxed and began to shake.

„It's ok. I'm here. I love you darling"

he whispered.

The others catched up to them.

„Lizzy!"

Price reached them.
She let go of Simon.
He carefully placed her down.
Not knowing if she was strong enough to stand.

„What the hell happened"

Soap said eyeing her up and down.

„I killed the devil"

she said calm.
She held up a pair of dog tags.
A satisfied smile spreading over her face.

„And that?"

Alejandro asked pointing on the dark clouds.

„I sent the devil back to hell."

she laughed at our puzzled faces.

„They ran like cowards as they heard he was dead.
I gathered every information I could find and carry and then set this shit place on fire"

„Hell yes"

Roach yelled.
He was a pure pyromaniac.

„There are pretty sweet things in there"

she pointed at the sack she had dragged behind her.

„You're insane"

König huffed laughing.

„Of course she is. As insane as we all"

Simon said trying to wipe some blood out of her face.

„I'm sorry I got a bit messy. I know you don't like the taste of blood"

She laughed silent and looked down on her.

„You're lucky I love you more"

Simon smiled and pulled her into a kiss.

As they walked back to the car he noticed how her adrenaline wore off because she got slower and began to shake slightly.
They were far from the factory building so she had to be walking for quite a bit.

Simon picked her up and carried her back to the truck.
Even though it was bloody hot she was shivering like crazy.

Simon would never understand how she had endured all this her entire life.
He had always admired how strong she was.
Especially mentally.
But this was to much.
Even for her.

He would make sure she would never have to go through something like this anymore.
But for now this would be over.
The snitch was dead.
Graves was dead.
The biggest risk in her life.
She clenched onto him the whole car ride.

Soap and Roach were looking through the stuff in the bag.

„Damn that is pretty good stuff. They will give you a fucking medal for this"

Roach laughed.

„She killed Graves. She will get like a hundred medals"

Soap laughed.

Liz stayed silent.
Simon looked down to her.
Her eyes were fixed on him.

„Is everything ok love?"

„Now it is."

she said sweet.
He stroked over her hair and kissed her forehead.

„I thought about you"

she whispered.

„What?"

„The whole time. I always thought about you. This gave me the strength to do this. To get back to you. To go home"

He sighed slightly and pressed her closer onto him.

„And we will go home. I bet your rookies have missed you"

She chuckled slightly.

„I bet they did all kinds of nonsense while I was gone"

He smiled softly.

„I love you Simon."

she sighed.

„I love you too Liz"

As they came back to the base Alejandro was already waiting for them.
He had organised the help for the civilians.
As he saw Liz his face went white.
She hugged him deep and smiled.

„It's over. Did wolf cooperate?"

„Yes. He did very well. I think he liked being on the good side for once."

„I bet he did. Maybe he gets used to it"

she smiled.

As she came back from a long shower he looked up and smiled.
With her wet hair and the lose clothes she looked absolutely adorable.

No one would have guessed that this woman just had killed a man and burned down a building.

Simon pulled her closer.
Since they came back to the base tents they hadn't talked much.
And Simon's head was racing.
He couldn't stand the thought of her being out there. On missions.
But he also couldn't ask her to stop.
To give up a huge part of her job.

He had to think about how she would feel when he was on missions.

Now he knew how it was.
Terrible.
She didn't deserved this.
But none of them could give up their jobs.
This was their life.
How the hell should they manage this.
