Chapter 18

Last we left off, it was revealed that Hendrickson survived thanks to his demon power, and then he proceeded to make the new generation of holy knights transform into monsters like Dale and wreak havoc throughout the capital, and then Elizabeth let Hendrickson take her to save Mikaela and Meliodas. Meliodas tries to save her but is stopped by Ban, who attacks him.

We know see Ban and Meliodas standing off with Ban waiting for an answer to his question.

Ban: You're not saying anything, so I guess I have my answer.

Meliodas: Now is really not the time to be bringing this up. Elizabeth has-

However, Meliodas was interrupted by Ban, who jumped at him and attacked him with his nunchucks, but Meliodas quickly jumped away, dodging the hit.

Ban: This might not mean anything to you, captain, but to me, there is nothing else in the world that matters more.

Said Ban while quickly appearing behind Meliodas and hitting him in the face before hitting him with a barrage of attacks the Meliodas struggled to defend against.

Ban: If I kill you right now, then she'll be brought back to LIIIFE!

Exclaimed Ban before sending Meliodas flying to the ground before trying to attack again, but Meliodas proceeded to parry each strike while heading backwards.

Meliodas: Who would put something as ridiculous as that in your head!?

Hawk: Some stuck-up chick who called herself a goddess was talking to us from that big horn thing too.

Said Hawk, causing Meliodas to turn to him in shock, and that's when Ban quickly took advantage of Meliodas's distraction and hit him with the tip of his Nunchuck in his stomach, sending him flying to a wall. Meliodas quickly jumped out of the wall and towards Ban, but Ban quickly hit him with his Nunchuck before he could reach him, sending Meliodas flying to the ground.

Ban then walked over to Meliodas who was laying on the ground 

Hawk: *angrily*Ban your such and idiot! If you keep this up, our friendship is over, got it!?

Ban: What? It's not like the two of us were friends anyway. If you don't shut your mouth, I'll kill you too, you swin.

Said Ban intimidating Hawk and causing tears to stream down his face before he stood up No pointed at Ban.

Hawk: Oh yeah? Well, if I'm playing for keeps, you wouldn't live to tell the tale, buddy.

Ban: In that case, kill me already. I'm begging you.

Said Ban while clenching his fist so hard it began to bleed.

Ban: That goddess told me everything. You were buddies with the demons that murdered Elaine, Captain, but if you take your life, she'll come back and be with me again, which is why I'm glad Mika is unconscious right now. I don't want him to see his father dying before his eyes too.

Said Ban while Meliodas deactivated his demon mark.

Meliodas: I see.*Smiles* Fine then Kill me, Ban.

Said Meliodas causing Ban to Smile.

Ban:*Smiles* Captain.

We then cut to Diane who was struggling to hold Jericho back.

Jericho: Now, brother, I'm going to become stronger than you are.

Diane: I knew that she was still alive, but what should I do?

That's when Jericho punched Diane in the face causing her to fall to the ground.
