Chapter 75

Last we left off Escanor ended up engaging Knull in a battle while in his The One form however despite Escanor's best efforts Knull was able to overpower him, forcing him to enter a form called The One Ultimate where Escano turns his life energy into power and to thanks form he even managed to land a blow on Knull though that wasn't enough and Knull was able to easily pin him down however before he could finish him off he was stopped by the others that's when Mael, Diane, Gowther, Gloxinia, and Drole joined in and through their and the others best efforts they managed to actually damage Knull prompting him to start getting serious and while that was happening Mikaela engaged both Shikama Dōji and Asuramaru in battle however he was no match for either of them allowing the duo to overpower them however despite the gap in strength between them Mikaela didn't give up as his determination to protect those close to him was enough to keep him going and reengage the duo.

We see Knull battling the entire group alone, each combatant giving their all to bring down the menacing god. Escanor charges forward, attempting to land a powerful punch in his The One Ultimate form, but Knull casually catches his fist, squeezing it with enough force to make Escanor wince. 

Knull: Is that all you've got, Lion Sin? For someone who claims to embody the sun, your light is pitifully dim.

With a swift motion, Knull kicks Escanor in the gut, sending him skidding back. He then ducks under a slash from the Demon King, who swings with murderous intent, only to be met with a crushing punch to the jaw. The impact sends the Demon King staggering, blood spurting from his mouth. Knull barely has time to revel in his strike before Meliodas launches at him, his claws coated in dark blades.

And while that was happening the Demon King's blood splashed on the ground some distance away from the fight, that's when two people who were covered in an orb of darkness each placed their finger on the blood before proceeding to lick it.

??: Mom.

??: I Know, Yue.

Said the voice as it was revealed that those two were none other than Gelda and Yue with Gelda growing a smile on her face.

Gelda: Zel...So, thats where you've been.

And while that was happening we cut over to Hawk and his mom staring at the fight with Hawk looking on in awe.

Hawk: That's one heck of a fight. Yeesh. Meliodas and Merlin sure weren't kidding around about Knull. The guys are literally taking on the Six of the Seven Deadly Sins, the former fairy and giant kings, the strongest of the Archangles, and the Demon King all by himself, and he's not just holding his own; he's actually pushing them back!

Exclaimed Hawk before turning back and noticing that his mom was missing.

Hawk: Mom?

And while that was happening, we cut to a place a few meters away from where Hawk was watching the fight. We saw Cath, who had slipped out of the tavern at some point during the fight, staring at the fight nervously.

Cath: Damn it! With that freak out, I can't act as freely as I want now.

That's when Cath noticed a shadow over him, causing him to turn around to see none other than Hawk Mom standing there looking down on him, causing Cath to start sweating nervously.

Cath: Hey, there's Hawk's mom, S-Sorry for slipping away. I-I just wanted to go somewhere safer to not get caught in the crossfire.

That's when Hawk Mom began to slow walk towards him, causing him to start moving back nervously.

Cath: W-What are you doing?

Asked Cath causing Hawk Mom to roar which caused Cath's eyes to widen in shock.
