Chapter 76

Last we left off, the battle between Knull and the others continued on. However, despite everyone's best efforts, they couldn't claim the upper hand on Knull, who managed to stop all their attacks before proceeding to pierce the Demon King, who would angrily insult Knull, calling him nothing but an echo. That's when Knull dropped a powerful revelation to the group, revealing that he was never the manifestation of Ian's power when in reality he existed before the universe was created. Knull would go on to reveal how a being named Chaos created their universe, and Knull, in order to return everything to the abyss, fought a war against it. However, Chaos came out victorious and sealed Knull away. However, Knull managed to break free due to the seal weakening, which was due to the Demon King and the Supreme Deity sealing Chaos away into a provisional body, which turned out to be Hawk Mom, shocking everyone. Knull would then go on to reveal that he chose Ian to be the vessel that he would use to return to his full glory and basically revealed that he set things in motion for the Demon King and the Supreme Deity framing Ian and Katherine, and also revealed that he was the one who placed the Curse of Contradiction on Ian, much to everyone's shock and horror.

We now see everyone staring at Knull in complete and utter shock.

Knull: And after the Curse of Contradiction was placed, you know what happened next. The curse ended up killing Ian's wife and unborn child, leading to him turning into me. Then I would go on to massacre the five races, but due to Ian's will and desire to protect his family while still remaining strong, I couldn't exert my full power, and that, coupled with the Demon King and the Supreme Deity working together and being supported by everyone, I ended up getting resealed in Ian. However, despite my initial plan falling, the damage was done. All that was left was to wait until Ian was completely broken so that he would remove the seal of his own volition, and you know what happens next.

Said Knull as everyone continued to stare at him in complete shock, still processing the fact that the events of that day, all the suffering that Ian went through, and, by extension, all of Ian's actions after that, were part of Knull's plan to fully return to his full glory.

Knull: So, you see, Demon King. 

Said Knull while turning to the Demon King.

Knull: I'm not a twisted manifestation of Ian's power. I'm not an echo. I'm real, very real.

Said Knull, leaning in closer, his breath cold against the Demon King's skin

Knull: And I owe my return to you and the Supreme Deity. You two are the ones who contributed the most to my return.

Demon King: Quiet!

Exclaimed the Demon King while attempting to bring his katana down on Knull, but Knull was faster. With a swift motion, he slashed through the Demon King's arm with All-Black, severing it with ease.

Knull: Allow me to thank you.

Said Knull before proceeding to stab All-Black on the ground and grab the Demon King's shoulder as suddenly...

*Badum*

The Demon King's eyes widened in terror as he felt a cold, creeping darkness spreading from Knull's hand, covering his body, and invading his very soul. Pain—unlike anything he had ever experienced—ripped through his body as he began to scream.

Demon King: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

Screamed the Demon King in pain as the others looked on in shock.

Ban: What is he doing!?

Meliodas: From the looks of things, he is forcefully ripping the Commandments and, by extension, out of Zeldris's body!
