Last we left off Mael ended up fusing with the Four Commandments killing Sariel and Tarmiel in the process while also transforming into an abomination and with his new found power proceeded to overpower King, Gloxinia, Diane, Gowther and Drole prompting Mikaela to intervene and use Annihilation on him severely injuring Mael who proceeded to destroy the theater causing the group to start falling and as Mael proceeded to attempt to attack Mikaela who was using his power to hold up Drole he was blown away by none other than King who managed to fully grow his fairy wings and with his new powers King proceeded to completely overpower Mael who's body began losing all its strength causing the Commanmdents to start killing him from the inside that's when Gowther used Invasion to get inside his head before proceeding to show Mael the true reason why he was chosen to be Estarossa which in turn convinced Mael to release the Commandments and save Gowther Fromm falling Mael then proceeded to use Invitation to Reincarnation on Derieri, allowing her to preserve her memories when she reincarnates. Mael thanks Elizabeth's efforts, then proceeds to join the group on their quest to Camelot, where Chandler and Cusack proceeded to fuse back into the Original Demon to defeat the assault force, while back at Purgatory Meliodas, Ban, and Wild prepare to engage the Demon King in battle.

We now continue where we left of with Wilde flying towards the Demon King however the Demon King proceeds to easily blow Wild away by flicking his finger at him much to Meliodas and Ban's horror.

Meliodas/Ban: WILD!!!

Exclaimed the duo, however, Wild managed to quickly recover and get back on his feet before looking back at the duo.

Wild: Don't turn your back on him!

Exclaimed Wild as the Demon King proceeded to bring his sword down on him prompting Ban to grab Meliodas and jump out of the way dodging the attack.

Demon King: Have I not bean clear? I will not permit you to return to the land of the living.

Said the Demon King before slashing upwards at the duo, who barely managed to get out of the way of the attack, though they weren't unharmed as the Demon King managed to slice off Ban's arm.

Meliodas: Sorry, Ban!

Bane: He's damned strong.

Said Ban before proceeding to use Physical Hunt on the Demon King but instead ends up having his strength stolen for some reason, making them both easy prey for their opponent and despite their continuous attacks and Wild's own techniques, the Demon King easily overpowers them all, annoyed by their continuous persistence and reminds them that he is the only one who allows anyone to escape from Purgatory, despite Meliodas's claim that he doesn't get to decide that.

He then summons a lightning storm at them, and Meliodas sends it back with Full Counter, much to Wild's surprise, but the Demon King merely absorbs the magic energy instead, and Meliodas reveals his father's power to be The Ruler, which makes him immune to all magic powers. However, that does not stop the duo as they proceed to attack the Demon King, determined to get out of Purgatory.

Timeskip

We now see the Demon King launching a powerful sword slash at the trio, blowing them away, which also caused them to retreat and regroup to plan their next move.

Ban: How many failed attempts is that now?

Meliodas: It's been 60 years since the three of us started challenging the Demon King... and yet we've never even reached his feet.

Ban: It's been 60 years here, but only one hour in the real world, right? Don't worry about it.

Said Ban as Meliodas looked down in sadness.
