Chapter 28

Last we left off the seven deadly sins planned to level up so that they can face the Ten Commandments, and not only that, King rejoined the group looking for Diane, but when he reunited with her, he was shocked to see she didn't recognize him, and while that was happening, Mikaela woke up in his inner world again, where he was scolded by Asuramaru for his performance against Galand. Asuramaru also declared that he will take Mikaela's role as king when the time comes.

We then see Diane looking at King in confusion

Diane: Sorry, but who are you?

King: Come on, Diane, don't give me a heart attack like that; it's me, King.

Diane: Wait, you're king?

King: That's right! You got it.

Said King in relief thinking Diane remembered him however Diane simply chuckled in response.

Diane: You must be kidding. I know him, and he's not a tiny little boy like you; he's more of a scrappy, oaffish blimp of a guy.

King: Well, I mean, yeah, that can be true.

Said King looking down while Meliodas and Elizabeth looked on in confusion.

Meliodas: Hey there, Diane Are you still half asleep?

Diane: Meliodas!

Exclaimed Diane in happiness much to everyone's confusion as she didn't call him by his title..

Hawk: That's weird. When did she stop calling you by your title?

Elizabeth: Diane, are you okay?

Upon seeing Elizabeth Diane immediately got her guard up.

Diane: And who are you!?

We then cut to Meliodas, Elizabeth and Hawk inside Merlin's lab after telling her what happened.

Merlin: Memory loss? It might be blunt-force amnesia caused by blunt-force trauma to the head.

Said Merlin turning to the group.

Hawk: Whoa, Merlin How did you get your body back?

Said Hawk noting the fact that Merlin looked like she normally does.

Merlin: I didn't; this is just an illusion to make things a bit easier.

Hawk: Oh, I guess that makes sense.

Elizabeth: It's so strange that while Diane has forgotten that Hawk and I ever existed, she still remembers Sir Meliodas just fine.

Meliodas: Been a while since she called me Meliodas instead of Captain though.

Hawk: Poor King, you should have seen how pale he was, and don't think I haven't suffered; I came this close to being eaten alive.

Said Hawk remembering how Diane tried to eat him moments ago.

??: What happened?

Said someone walking in the room causing everyone to turn their attention to the door to see none other than Mikaela who was wearing his black shirt standing there.
