Last we left off the Mikaela, Meliodas, Merlin, Diane, Slader and Camelot's holy knights fought Galand of the Tend Commandments though other than Mikaela no one was able to do any significant damage and got defeated causing Mikaela to use Soulreaver's power in a desperate attempt to win however the blowback came at the worst moment incapacitating Mikaela which allowed Galand to finish them off or so he thought as it was revealed that Gowther manipulated Galands mind into making him believe that he killed them.
A/n: I'm skipping the fight with the Gray Demon and Hendrickson revealing the truth.
We see Meliodas standing in Danafor as it was raining, looking at his dead wife Liz with a one-year-old Mikaela shaking her while crying, trying to get her to wake up, but to no avail.
Meliodas: Liz, I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you.
Meliodas then Looks at Mikaela with more regret in his eyes.
Meliodas: And worst of all, I allowed Mikaela to witness this scene too.
Said Meliodas in regret as tears started streaming from his eyes, and that's when the scenery changed as Meliodas saw that he was surrounded by multiple corpses, the sky was completely black, and he also saw multiple black-like creatures slaughtering more living beings of all races, much to his shock and horror.
Meliodas: No.
Said Meliodas stepping back in fear.
??: Meliodas.
Called a voice causing Meliodas to turn to where the voice came from to see a mountain but what caused a shiver to run down his spine him was the figure he saw standing on the mountain of corpses as it was a figure of a man with long black hair wearing a black robe.
Meliodas: It can't be.
Said Meliodas stepping back further.
Meliodas: Ian.
Ian: How could you?
Meliodas: I-I'm sorry.
Ian: It's because of you she's dead.
Meliodas: P-please, I'm so sorry Ian. If I could go back in time and changed what happened, I would.
Ian: You TRAITOOOOOR!!!
Screamed Ian in anger as his figure then proceeded to change and form into a silhouette of someone wearing armor with a dragon insignia on the chest plate and was looking down on him with red eyes

Meliodas gasps in fear as he recognized the ominous figure. The enigmatic entity then summons a sword and jumps towards Meliodas with incredible speed bringing his sword down on Meliodas causing Meliodas to quickly open his eyes in the real world and quickly sit up breathing heavily.
