Last we left off, the group resolved to make their way to the fighting festival, where Elizabeth and Hawk discovered Diane there while Ban and Meliodas reunited and managed to make up before deciding to break through the wall in order to get to the goal where they reunited with Elizabeth and the others. While that was happening, Mikaela met Ian face-to-face for the first time, though Ian was using a different identity. They then decided to break through the walls just like Meliodas and Ban did in order to reach the goal where they reunited with the others, with Ian finally seeing Meliodas, Gloxinia,and Drole again.
We see Mikaela and Ian walking over to the group with others quickly running over to them.
Elizabeth: I'm glad to see that you made it, Mikaela. We were starting to get worried.
Mikaela: Sorry about that.
That's when Meliodas noticed Ian in his Aizen form standing next to Mikaela.
Meliodas: So, who's your new friend?
Mikaela: Him?
Said Mikaela while pointing to Ian.
Mikaela: Just someone I ran into while walking around in that stupid maze. We both decided to help each other get here faster. His name is Sōsuke Aizen.
Aizen: Nice to meet you all.
Elizabeth: Nice to meet you too.
That's when King, Elaine, and Jericho walked over.
King: So, I see you ran into Mikaela when we got separated.
Aizen: That's right.
Said Aizen while the others looked on in confusion.
Meliodas: Wait, you guys know each other?
Ban: That's right, he's a mage we ran into during our journey; he saved our lives from the Ten Commandments.
Said Ban surprising the others.
Mikaela: Is that so? Then it seems I should thank you.
Aizen: There is no need to do that; I only did the right thing.
And while that was happening Gloxinia and Drole were looking at Mikaela with interest.
Gloxinia: So that's Meliodas's son, Mikaela, huh?
Drole: He has blue eyes like his mother and blonde hair like his father, though it's a different shade. I'm curious to see how he fairs in a fight. Galand and Fraudrin both spoke highly of him.
Gloxinia: Indeed.
Said Gloxinia before deciding to get everyone's attention.
Gloxinia: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!
Said Gloxinia getting everyone's attention.
Gloxina: Welcome to this ultimate time killer—no, I mean the great fighting festival—but before we get things under way, we'll need to prepare the arena.
Said Gloxinia before turning to Drole.
Gloxinia: Alright, Drole, are you ready?
Upon hearing that name both Diane and Matrona gasped in shock.
Matrona: 'Dro-'
Diane: 'Drole?'
That's when Drole proceeded to make several hand signs.
Drole: Gigant Gauntlet.
Exclaimed Drole causing the ground to start shaking and form two giant hands made of rocks.
