Last we left off Ban tried to kill Meliodas because of the deal the goddess proposed to him but after seeing the power of Meliodas's conviction Ban put his weapon down meanwhile with his increased power Hendrickson killed Dreyfus that's when Meliodas and the others arrived and fought him and during the fight the corpse of a red demon was revealed.

We now see the group looking at the corpse I'm complete shock.

King: Look at that monster corpse.

Diane: so red and flabby. It gives me the creeps.

King: Is that what I think it is.

Mikaela: That's.

Meliodas: Yeah, it's a demon.

Mikaela: So this is the demon who's blood Hendrickson, and the new generation is invested.

Gowther: Correct, the magical power emanating from that corps matches what I sensed from Dale and the new generation; it appears to be the root of this great evil.

Hendrickson: Twenty years ago, when his remains were first discovered deep in the Fairy King Forest, this journey began.

Said Hendrickson shocking King.

Ban:... 

Hendrickson: All that I have accomplished has been made possible by this red demon, both the old generation and the new, the experiments that gave us those compatible with demon blood, the partial deciphering of the dark magic system, and now this.

Said Hendrickson before turning his fingers into dark tendrils and unleashing them at the group, but Mikaela, Meliodas, and Diane deflected them. King and Gowther dodged them, while Ban let himself get priced by one.

Hendrickson: At last, I myself wield the power of the red demon!

Exclaimed Hendrickson which caused Ban to smirk.

Ban: If the Red Demons power is your only ace in the whole, your best bet is to fold and walk away from the table.

Said Ban while running towards Hendrickson despite the dark tendril stabbing his chest. Ban then raises his fist up and slams it on Hendrickson's head.

Ban: Cause I'm the one who killed that fat freak!!!

The force from Bans's attack was strong enough to send Hendrickson flying through the ground, creating a hole that Hendrickson fell through. Ban then proceeded to walk to his nunchuck while the others looked at him in shock.

Mikaela/King: Uncle Ban/Ban

However Ban ignored them and grabbed his nunchuck and proceeded to destroy the Demon corpse.

King: Ban, You really killed that thing twenty years ago?

Ban: Who killed what and when isn't important.

Said Ban, dodging the question while the others gathered around the hole.

Meliodas: Forget that; take a look at the size of this hole.

Gowther: I detect a slight breeze, which must mean that there is a canoe further down.

Mikaela: Well, then, what are we waiting for? Let's go after him.

Diane: But I don't think I could fit down there.

Meliodas: No problem. You can stay here and keep a look out.

Said Meliodas turning to Diane.

Diane: Okay, but try to be careful.

Mikaela: We will.
