Chapter 30

A/n: I know I said there would be no chapter this week, but I have enough free time right now, so I figured I'd publish a new chapter for you all. Enjoy.

Last we left off Meliodas had to go through a trial of reliving his time with Liz so that his emotions get killed however Meliodas managed to overcome the trial without losing his emotions and not only that Mikaela managed to gain mastery over his healing magic thanks to advice from Shikama Dōji and after that Mikaela proceeded to enter his inner world so that he can battle Asuramar.

We know see Merlin, Jenna, and Meliodas discussing the recent events with King listing in because he wasn't in the mood to train while Zaneri went back to the tower to check on Elizabeth.

Meliodas: I see, so all this time, Hendrickson was being controlled by Fraudrin, huh?

Jenna: That's correct now. I know that he caused a lot of harm, but I try to keep an open mind when it comes to him for my sake.

Meliodas: Will do.

King: Tch.

Merlin: Now that we're on the subject of Fraudrin, does Mikaela know who he is?

Meliodas: No, he only knows what Fraudrin looks like, but he didn't learn his name yet. I'm honestly worried about how he'd react when he finds out about all of this.

Merlin: We're bound to confront Fraudrin eventually; it's best to let Mikaela know early on rather than let him find out by himself.

Meliodas: You're right I'll tell him after we leave.

That's when King chimed In.

King: Who is Fraudrin anyway?

Meliodas: Fraudrin is the name of the demon who killed Liz.

Said Meliodas with anger in his eyes shocking King. That's when Theo chimed in.

Theo: um. Sir Meliodas.

Meliodas: What is it, Theo?

Theo: Something is going on with Mikaela.

Said Theo causing Everyone to turn their attention to Mikaela to see small black wisps flying from his shoulder.

Merlin: It seems it has already started.

Meliodas: Yeah.

Said Meliodas while looking at his son with a concerned expression.

Meliodas: 'Be careful, Mika.'

We then cut to Mikaela's inner world with Mikaela getting pushed back while blocking a sword slash from Asuramaru.

Asuramaru: Wow, we just started, and you're already losing ground. Pathetic.

Mikaela: Shut up!

Exclaimed Mikaela while attempting to hit Asuramaru with a Ray Stinger to his face. However, with quick reflexes, Asuramaru swiftly dove under it and proceeded to wrap his tail around Mikaela's neck, using it to lift him off the ground, and proceeded to throw him at one of the houses. But while in the air, Mikaela quickly flipped and landed on the house before jumping towards Asuramaru, who was flying towards him and encased Soulreaver in Ark while Asuramaru coated his sword with Hellblaze.

Mikaela: Enchant: Ark!

Asuramaru: Enchant: Hellblaze!

Their clash unleashed a powerful shockwave, however Asuramaru's strength prevailed, overpowering Mikaela and propelling him forcefully into the distance.
