Chapter 22

Last we left off Mikaela and Meliodas defeated Hendrickson using Soulreaver's released state and Meliodas's Revenge Counter and Hawk turned out to be alive and later on everyone celebrated Mikaela's birthday much to his shock as he forgot about it.

It's been a few weeks since the battle with Hendrickson and the Sins returned to Liones. 

We then cut Mikaela walking around in a ruined Kingdom looking on in confusion.

Mikaela: This is.

Just then Mikaela comes to a stop, looking in shock as he sees Meliodas carrying a younger him in his hand. He then turns his gaze to where Meliodas was looking and widens his eyes in horror as he sees his mom lying dead against a wall with a giant shadowy figure stabbing her in the heart.

Mikaela: No, not this scene again, please.

Said Mikaela with tears streaming down his eyes suddenly the scenery changes and he sees himself standing in an empty wasteland much to his confusion.

Mikaela: Huh.

Suddenly something comes flying down hitting the ground surprising Mikaela and as the smoke cleared he was shocked to see his dad lying and the ground battered and bruised.

Mikaela: Dad!

Exclaimed Mikaela trying to reach his father though was stopped by dark tendrils preventing him from moving he then notices ten shadowy figures lying on the floor much to his confusion as he didn't recognize any of them.

Mikaela: Who are they.

Just then Mikaela heard the sound of footsteps causing him to turn his attention to where the sound was coming from and saw a tall figure shadowy figure with a cloak walking over to his dad.

Mikaela: And who is that?

Asked Mikaela who was surprised when he saw the shadowy figure grab his father and hug him tightly.

Mikaela: eh?

However Mikaela was later horrified when he saw Meliodas's hands go limp.

Mikaela: Dad?

The shadowy figure then drops Meliodas on the ground and Mikaela widened his eyes in horror as tears began streaming down his eyes as he saw that Meliodas was dead.

Mikaela: Dad. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Just then Mikaela quick open his eyes which were filled with tears and quickly sat up breathing heavily though started calming down when he realized he was in his room.

Mikaela: It was just a dream, just a dream.

Said Mikaela trying to calm himself down.

Timeskip.

It's been a few hours since Mikaela's nightmare and we see Elizabeth and Hawk who was back to his normal size talking.

Hawk: For real? The king is going to give all of us Metals?

Elizabeth: Yes, The Seven Deadly Sins and Mikaela did save the kingdom that goes for you too Hawk.

Hawk: Well, Yeah. I'm the shining star of this bunch.

Said Hawk causing Elizabeth to chuckle.

Hawk: Hey, I'm being serious. What are you laughing about?

That's when Meliodas joined them wearing his new outfit which was a long-sleeved, high-collared white tunic over an undershirt, a pair of gloves, knee-length black pants, and black boots. This outfit is a bit more formal like a uniform with the "Boar Hat" embroidered on his back.
