Chapter 55

Last we left off, Meliodas ended up regaining consciousness and choosing to disband the Seven Deadly Sins, much to everyone's shock and horror, before proceeding to make his way to Camelot with Mikaela, Elizabeth, and Chandler. While that was happening, the Seven Deadly Sins ended up discovering that Hawk was connected to Purgatory, where Meliodas's emotions were causing Ban to volunteer to go there. Meanwhile, Meliodas, Mikaela, Elizabeth, and Chandler arrived at Camelot, where Meliodas convinced his brothers to help him by beating them and telling Zeldris a secret. After that, Meliodas, Elizabeth, and Mikaela, who had regained consciousness, had a falling-out, causing Elizabeth to incapacitate Meliodas by slapping him and taking Mikaela with him to rejoin the sins, Drole, and Gloxinia.

We now see Merlin examining  the two vials containing Grayroad and Melascula before noticing something.

Merlin: 'Grayroad's Commandment has been stolen. So, it's come to this. You've grown more and more desperate, haven't you, Meliodas?'

That's when the group felt a powerful presence heading their way causing them to get on guard.

King: This is bad! Really bad! There is an overwhelming magical force from Camelot that's coming straight for us!

Gloxinia: That's Zeldris's magical power.

Diane: What awful timing. Our power  drained from that battle earlier.

Hawk: What are we going to do!?

Gloxinia: Relax; me and Drole will hold him off so that you guys can retreat.

Merlin: That won't be necessary.

Said Merlin who walked out of her lab causing Gloxinia to stop.

Gloxinia: Huh?

King: Merlin.

Merlin: I'm fully prepared to negotiate.

Hawk: Are you kidding me? How will you even be able to do that?

Merlin: Well, It may be a gamble, but I believe I know what his after and so do you, Fairy King Gloxinia.

Gloxinia: He's most likely here to get Grayroad's and Melascula's Commandments. No wait, Grayroad's Commandment is gone. I can't sense it anymore.

Merlin: That's right, Meliodas took it when I wasn't looking.

Gloxinia: Which is all the more reason not to give Melascula's Commandment to him.

Merlin: Don't worry. I just need you trust me on this.

Said Merlin causing Gloxinia to sigh.

Gloxinia: Alright, fine, now this is the first time we've met face-to-face but Ian did speak highly of you, so I will trust you.

Merlin: Thank you.

Said Merlin before walking out of the tavern to see Drole in a battle stance while glaring at Zeldris.

Zeldris: I didn't expect to see you here, Drole, and you too, Gloxinia.

That's when Merlin walked forward getting Zeldris's attention.

Merlin: Honestly, I'm glad you're the one they sent, Zeldris. It makes my job easier.

Zeldris: And who are you? I don't recall seeing your face before.

Merlin: Really? I'm offended.

Said Merlin before turning back to her true form shocking Zeldris.

Merlin: Does this face ring any bells?

Zeldris: Huh!? It can't be! So the Merlin that Meliodas mentioned was you!?

Asked Zeldris before saying something in demon language confusing everyone other than Gloxinia and Drole.
