Chapter 59

Last we left off Derieri followed by Estarossa who was trying to steal her Commandment encountered the search and destroy force which lead to a fight between Estarossa, Sariel, and Tarmiel and though the two Arch angles held the upper hand at first Estarossa managed to take the upper hand by absorbing both Monspeet and Galand's Commandments though in the process his mind ended up getting warped to the point that he started thinking he's Meliodas, and after catching Mikaela off guard and blasting him away, he ended up defeating everyone, prompting Elizabeth to willingly go with him so that no one else can get hurt, which in turn caused Mikaela, King, Gloxinia, Sariel, Tarmiel, and Derieri to start chasing after him with Gowther secretly following them. While that was happening, the Assault team managed to arrive at Camelot and proceeded to penetrate Meliodas's cocoon of darkness. While that was happening, Meliodas's emotions awakened in purgatory, and he promised that he would make it back to everyone.

We now see two of Purgatories inhabitants fighting it out while the other creatures ran away from their own safety. The first creature was a black humanoid fox-like creature with red eyes, while the other one was some sort of worm creature.

The black fox quickly charged towards the worm and punched it on the face, sending it sliding back. However, it quickly recovered and proceeded to spit out acid at the fox's neck, causing it to roar in pain before proceeding to angrily launch a flurry of punches at the fox's neck, though the worm managed to withstand them and proceeded to launch a counterattack, hitting the fox with its tail, sending it flying a few meters back. The fox quickly recovered and proceeded to lung at the worm with incredible speed, leaving the worm unable to react as the fox slashed its head off, killing it in the process.

The fox then proceeded to continue its journey before stopping a top a lake of Lava and seeing the dead tree in its center caused a memory to appear in the fox's mind. It was a memory of the fountain of youth that's when a memory of Elains voice appeared causing the fox to grip his head and roar in pain.

Fox: E...lain.

Said the fox before proceeding to roar in pain as he got smaller and reverted to none other than Ban who held his head in pain.

Ban: What was...I doing all this time? 

Asked Ban before proceeding to check his body out.

Ban: That was a close call. Any longer and I would have completely transformed into an inhabitant of Purgatory.  I wonder how many years it has been—no, how many centuries have passed since I got here?Said Ban before proceeding to look up.

Said Ban before proceeding to look up.

Ban: CAPTAAAIIIIIN!!! WHERE ARE YOU!? PLEASE, ANSWER MEEEEEEE!!!

Roared Ban in desperation as he continued his search for Meliodas's emotions.

We then cut over to the real world  with Mikaela, King, Gloxinia, Derieri, Sariel, and Tarmiel who were still pursuing Estarossa.

King: Thank you...

Said King turning to Derieri.

King: For coming to help us save Lady Elizabeth.

That's when Gloxinia chimed in.

Gloxinia: Yeah, we really appreciate your help, Derieri.

Said Gloxinia causing Derieri to scoff.

Derieri: Uh. It isn't my only objective. That bastard Estarossa I will never forgive him.

Said Derieri causing Gloxinia to frown.

Gloxinia: Understandable. Even though I wasn't a demon, Monspeet was still one of my comrades. His death saddens me just as much as it saddens you, and I'm pretty sure Drole feels the same.
