Last we left off, Meliodas ended up revealing to everyone that he and Elizabeth were punished by the Supreme Deity and the Demon King, with the two beings placing curses on them each, with Meliodas receiving the curse of Eternal Life, where he will never die, and if he does die, he will be revived later. And as for Elizabeth, she was cursed with Eternal Reincarnation, where she would be reborn as a human over and over and live short lives as a human, where she would meet Meliodas and fall in love with him, and if she were to regain her memories of her past lives, she would die three days later in front of Meliodas without fail. Upon learning this, the Sins and Mikaela were both shocked and horrified. That's when Ian made his appearance at the Boar Hat and decided to use the opportunity to ask Mikaela to join him.

We now see everyone staring at Ian in shock.

You're parents were cursed by your grandparents simply because they loved each other, and because of the constant war between them, you were robbed from your mother at a young age, dragged to this war against your own will, and forced to flee the kingdom of Liones and be on the run for ten years. You couldn't enjoy a normal life and a complete family, and then you also had to witness your own father die before your eyes all because of this war. You suffered because of this war like I did, and as a child, you shouldn't have to go through any of this.

King: Don't listen to them!

Exclaimed the Duo however Ian got between them and Mikaela preventing Mikaela who glanced their direction to see them.

Ian: Don't you want to get revenge on this world do how much it has wronged you and your family? Join me. with our combined power we can destroy this world'

Mikaela: You want me to destroy my family?

Ian: I too am a part of your family, and just like you, I wanted nothing more than to protect my family. However, in the end, I was betrayed by a member of said family.

Said Ian while glancing at Meliodas who looked down in regret.

Asked Ian shocking everyone.

Diane: What!?

King: Captain did no such thing! He would never betray Mika!

Ian: Oh, but he already did by keeping the information about the curses hidden from Mikaela.

Said Ian before turning back to Mikaela.

Ian: Mikaela, you trusted Meliodas more than anyone in the entire world, and yet he never even returned half of the trust you gave him. All he did was keep secrets from you, like this one, a secret that you had every right to know, and why is that? Did you ask him why he couldn't trust you with that secret?
